Today (and by today, I mean yesterday because I write these all a day before they post!), lucky cable subscribers everywhere now have the option to watch How to Be on IFC Festival Direct.
Too bad that the cable company here is the devil and I have Directv, which will NOT be airing How to Be on any channels (trust me, I check everyday). Since I know I am not the only one, sitting here being sad because I can’t watch a-dork-able Rob, I decided to dedicate today’s to the movie and try and help us all pass the time until we can get our hands on a copy of this movie.

I share Stephanie Meyer’s love for Linkin Park. I think they are amazing!
One of my favorite songs is What I’ve Done and I noticed when I really listened to the lyrics, that the song kinda fits how Edward was feeling when he left. So many songs are surrounding Bella’s feelings (for obvious reasons, since we don’t have an EPOV to see what he is really thinking when he chooses to leave), but I think that Edward deserves a good song!
With lyrics like “Erase myself, and let go of what I’ve done” and “Put to rest, what you thought of me, while I clean this slate, with the hands of uncertainty”, you can kind of see what Edward is feeling. This song probably wouldn’t work in the movie(I’m sure they’ll do like the book does and concentrate on Bella), but could go in the personal playlist we’ve all created on our iPods.
So, here is the song for you to enjoy!! (There were some vids on YouTube trying to set New Moon to this song, but they all kinda blew, so I’m just posting the actual music video.)

Great news today!! Rob has officially picked up another movie from Summit. One not in ANY way related to Twilight. Here’s the scoop from MTV:
Pattinson will play the lead role in “Remember Me,” a story of a young couple whose burgeoning relationship is complicated by a succession of family tragedies that test their bond, according to ScreenDaily.com. The makers of the film, which had previously been titled “Memoirs,” have not yet settled on which actress who will play Pattinson’s love interest.
So, no leading lady yet, eh? Since obviously it can’t be me (trust me, my acting skills are atrocious!!), let me throw some names out there for some ladies I wouldn’t mind seeing giving my man a “special hug” on screen!
1. Ashley Greene
I’m really not wanting Twilight rehashed, but she is just so damn cute and I love her! I can totally picture it!
2. Kat Dennings
Seen her name thrown around quite a bit, and I’d be willing to share with her.
3. Olivia Thrilby
Another up and coming actress. There were some people who wanted to see her as Bella, so seeing her opposite Rob in something else may pacify them.
So, this leads me to ask… Who do you think would be a great leading lady for Rob (and no, it can’t be you, unless you are Ashley Greene and read my blog, to which I give you a fangirl squeal!!)?
I love Youtube! It is helping to fill that void that exists while I wait for November 20. Here are a few new ones I have found that are so amazing, I even save them to my iPhone.

My hubby of all people found this video. Of course, he is a unicorn, so it doesn’t surprise me that he searching for Twilight vids. Anyways, it is a little raunchy, but pretty hilarious (in my opinion).
Sometimes living in the middle of the country pays off. Not when hoping to meet anyone famous. Not when hoping Sam Bradley may cruise through for a quick set. BUT when wanting to go to TwiCon 2009!
So, what’s holding me back? Oh yeah, $255 to register, plus additional $20 to go to 100 Monkeys concert. Hubby not excited about that. In hopes of convincing him that he should definitely most positively let me go and that this IS a good investment of $275, I’m listing all the great reasons I have to be there.
1. It’s in Dallas, within driving distance. No expensive airfare.
2. Got a place to crash, for free. No expensive hotel.
3. Ashley Greene will be there, and who else but me can invite her to the big LTT/LTR sleepover we are all having.
4. Someone mentioned that a girl got to touch Kellan’s abs while at another convention. I must touch Kellen’s abs.
There ain't nothing wrong with good ol blog research!
(What?!? It’s research for my blog!!)
5. Bobby Long AND Marcus Foster will both be there. If they throw Sam Bradley in that mix, I am so done!
6. Jackson will be there with 100 Monkeys, and it is my goal to figure out where the after party will be and chill with “Jasper.”
7. I must know if Billy Burke’s amazing ‘stache is real. And then ask him to be my dad!
9. Hillywood will be there! HILLYWOOD!!! Don’t know who they are? Well, you do now.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON OF ALL…
C'mon... if it happens at Wal-Mart, it can happen anywhere!
10. What if Rob makes an appearance?!? I know you doubt me, but if he can show up at the Wal-Mart headquarters in Bentonville, AR, then he could end up in Dallas (especially if his boys Long and Foster are there). It COULD happen!!
There is my Top 10…do you all have any other good reasons I can use as ammunition?
All I know, is if I win, you will all be rewarded with pics, first hand accounts, etc., and my hubby will get numerous “special hugs!”

This week, we’ve seen a flurry of new outtakes of Rob. Funny, cause most of the outtakes are as good, if not better, then the pics that ran originally.
So, to honor this sudden release of numerous new photos, I’m dedicating this blog to all my Twilight/Rob girls and posting their, as well as my, fave outtakes of all time!! Enjoy, cause my girls have good taste!!
Sam Bradley has really grown in popularity the past few months. And I’m sure that the fact he is friends with a certain guy who may have played a teenage vampire in a blockbuster movie has helped some. And, I hate to admit, the only reason I knew or found out about Sam is because of Rob Pattinson (and JBell who is my enabler in all things related to Twilight, Rob or anything even remotely related to those 2 topics).
But, Rob is not the reason I continue to listen.
Yes, we all love Too Far Gone because that is a song that came as a direct result of Sam being besties with Rob (Rob was a co-writer), but let’s go beyond that.
2. Sam comments on blogs, outing us all. I’ve seen 2 cases of this so far, once over at Letters to Rob and again at Random Acts of Rob. He has admitted that these are him (and maybe he’ll verify on my blog as well, hint, hint, Sam). Why does him commenting make me so excited?
A. It shows he is keeping an eye on what the fans are saying.
2. It makes me feel more normal that I also have Google Alerts set up for my name.
III. We are officially all 1 degree from Rob (ala 7 degrees of Keving Bacon).
3. Songs like You Think You’re Free, Sea Blue and Derek, genius!!
4. He makes YouTube videos, like this. AND I love him for that because I can’t make videos period! (P.S. Subscribe to his YT channel!!)
5. And the final reason I love Sam Bradley…he is adorable!!

Three discs of commentary, behind the scenes, extended scenes, deleted scenes, music videos, the Twilight DVD seemed to have it all…EXCEPT a blooper reel. Personally, that would have been a huge plus and a great add to the 3 discs I have chock full of Twilight goodness.
