Yes, we can. If we Letters to Rob (LTR) girls set our mind to anything, we can do it. That’s what happened last night, when my fellow LTR girl and Twittering buddy said this:
MsJBell OMG! We’re making #sambradley a trending topic! GO. NOW! DO IT!!!! #sambradley (lmfao! I want to “pound Sam Bradley” TRUE STORY!)
According to Dustin Pitcher, there were over 1,500 tweets with #SamBradley over the next 2 hours. (Don’t know who Sam Bradley is? Fix that now by going to his MySpace page NOW!) His trending topic status jumped to a #2, before something happened (which we all think Twitter pulled the plug on our fun). And I have to believe that the LTR girls had a great effect in this rapid movement up the chain of trending topics with some classic posts like these:
vickybonnett Today will go down as the day that #sambradley got pounded and pounded and pounded #sambradley
midnightsunco okay…all this #ing #sambradley ! phew…i need a cig now. actually going to bed though. need to sleep. G-night tweeps!

joebendesigns I srsly need a #sambradley hug. I’m sad that #sambradley is not on the trending topics now. How did #sambradley just go away?!?
So, now that we’ve giving Sam Bradley a good pounding over on Twitter, the next goal has been set by MsJBell:
MsJBell Everyone pounding #sambradley!! Listen up!! Let’s pound #bobbylong now! #bobbylong to the top!
And, we will do it again. Get ready Twitter for some good old fashioned pounding by the LTR girls!
UPDATE: Want to clarify something real quick! While MsJBell started the trend amongst the LTR girls, she (unfortnantly) did not start the overall trend. Much props to @SippieCup and @__specialK for starting this whole business!

Isn’t it crazy that a trending topic on twitter can create enough buzz to inspire not 1, not 2 but 3 (that I know of) blog posts. It really shows the versatility of twitter as a platform. Anything is possible when people connect and there is surely strength in numbers. Great job @SippieCup and @__specialK (they’re the ones who really kicked the whole thing off) @MsJBell certainly rocked it as well. I’m still hoping that @samueltwitt1 will hit me up and let me know what kind of spike in activity his myspace page got.
