Rob + Bareback Horse Riding = EPIC WIN!!
More details are being released about Rob’s role as Phineas in The Unbound Captives, and although nothing is official or finalized, the character he is slated to play sounds like something NONE of us will want to miss on the big screen, in high definition (as Rob is intended to watch!).
Here are a couple of the character descriptions that jump out to me the most:
Phineas (all descriptions here are of the character at age 17) is described as having long hair and pierced ears, presumably in the 19th-century Comanche style.
Rob with long hair, piercings and essentially dressed as a Comanche. Mmmmm….. Is anyone else hoping is wardrobe will consist of a loin-cloth and nothing else, or it that just me?
Virtually all of his lines are in Comanche.
So Rob not only has to hide his accent again, but he also has to speak a totally different language that none of us will understand? First off, we all know how hot foreign guys are, but when a guy speaks a language I can’t even understand… *poof* Just don’t get distracted by any subtitles!!
Yes, he rides a horse…bareback. He rides quite a bit, actually.
Um, just thinking of Rob’s name in the same sentence as “rides” is kind of distracting. The images in my head….. what happened? I think I blacked out for a moment there!!
Although the character does have a few flirtatious scenes, this is not a romantic-type role.
No worries, we are all Twilight fans and we know that the flirting can be just as good as the real deal. Plus, I think I see more fan fic in our immediate future.
Our source describes the character like this: “Phineas is pretty fierce. He’s been raised as a warrior. He can be silent and standoffish, but he can throw a bit of a fit, too.”
Rob as a fierce, quite warrior? It’s probably good that is character is really only going to be in the last third of the movie, cause I don’t think I could stand that kind of, um, stimulation, for that long.
Anyone just as eager as me to see this movie?!? Well, we got a bit to wait, as IMDB said the movie is looking at a year-end production start, but with all the new movies being announced, looks like we’ll have a LOT of Rob to look forward!

Finally made it over here. Wow, I’m excited. I can’t help but think Rob umm is not that athletic and may need some riding lessons.

Wow!! The images that just popped into my head… cold shower time I think!! I got hot and bothered just by the shirtless pics, cant imagine what Id do if hes only in a loincloth and I love guys with long hair… rob is gonna be soooo hott in this movie and on top of that we get Hugh Jackman too!! I think this movie may give me a heart attack!! LOL

I have a copy of the Unbound Captives script (as it was as of july 2008). I wont give it out to anyone, but I will tell anyone more about the character of Phineas and some of his scenes if you are interested.

ps. I read unbound captives before i know that rp was going to be in it, yet when reading the description of Phineas, i could totally picture him because of “intense eyes” and “cold stares”, all of which rob pretty much has down. I nearly pissed myself when i found out he was cast as Phineas.
