My saviors of the Twicon disaster… the BritPack (which, for newbs, is Sam Bradley, Bobby Long and Marcus Foster)!! Trust me, if it weren’t for them, this weekend would have been a horrible disaster. Unimaginable disaster. Luckily, these guys made it one of the most amazing weeks of my life instead.
Sam Bradley
He may be falling in love with me right at this moment...
Of course, Sam was the one I was most excited about. I am in love with his music, his cute little videos, pretty much everything about him. And I tell you what, he managed to increase that love by about 1,000%. First my encounters, then the show!
Encounter 1: We just arrived. I saw Sam in the lobby. We played it cool and just said “Hi Sam” as he walked by. He smiled and said hi back. I waited till he was gone, then fangirled completely. I tried to tweet, but then I could not stop shaking. It was kind of ridiculous. The funniest part…we were the only ones that noticed him!
Aren't we gorgeous together? I mean, he helps it quite a bit but I think I hold me own!
Encounter 2: Next day, meet and greet! Nothing too abnormal! Lots of smiles and everything while he signed all the crap I had! 
We went back up to the room to change for the Marcus/Bobby concert and then came back down to the ATM (which was in front of the meet & greet room). The door is closed, so I thought they were all gone, but after my cussing at the ATM for not giving me cash (since I spent it all at the M&G), Sam comes out, carrying his merch and some girl asked to take a pic. The girl I was with took the pic (Val), and then we stood there contemplating if we should ask for pics while other girls did. After everyone was gone, we decided to ask if he still had time and of course he said yes. We took them, he went to grab his stuff and noticed girl #1′s phone ringing on the counter. He answers it while Val runs off to find girl. After he hangs up, it’s just me and him. He asks me if I’m having a good weekend, and I say so far and that I was looking forward to that night. Then he asks if it was even the weekend yet, and we laugh cause he doesn’t know what day it is. After that, a slightly awkward silence occurs where I can’t think of anything to say. What I should have done was at least introduce myself, but I’m an idiot. Val comes back with girl #1, then we smile and laugh and tell him we’ll see him later.

Encounter 3: Sam is at the concert (of course). I see him taking pics, so I don’t try to bust in cause I already got mine. I go to use the restroom. The door was hard to open, so I bust through it and about knock Sam on his ass. Seriously, inches. He looks wide eyed and I apologize like CRAZY. He tells me it’s fine, then fangirls continue to pursue pics so I leave. Those girls were relentless!
Encounter 4: Sam is having a drink at the bar, with lots of girls are surrounding him (of course). I move my little butt up there, put my face next to his and ask him to tweet on MidnightSun’s phone (cause my phone was DEAD! I was SO sad!). I try to explain that he has to tweet anytime there are LTR girls around, but no explanation necessary. He just takes it and does it, no prob. I would have used my phone, but it was DEAD! Then I get me a hug, and he is so amazingly sweet (and soft!). And I swoon a comfortable 15 feet away from him. Here is the tweet:
The Performance: Sam was everything I hoped he would be and more during his show! He performed Saturday and it was truly epic and included No Diggity and Boot Scottin’ Boogie. Yes, I am very serious about that! And when he played Sea Blue, I swooned so horribly bad. It was so beautiful! And, since the room was full of Twilighters who really did not know anything about Sam, I was glad he did NOT play Too Far Gone. While I do love that song, it was almost a statement made that he was not going to cater to the Twi-fans that night. And I really appreciate that. The seperation has got to begin and to me, better now then later!
Of the 3 guys, I can say that Sam probably has the best presence and performance. He is much more confident and seasoned (or just comes off that way). He really gets into it with the crowd and does a lot of banter. He really makes you feel like you are a part of the show with his personality and wit.

Bobby Long
Enounter: Yes, I only have one encounter with Bobby.

The Performance: I have to say that I merely liked Bobby when I went in Friday. I really wasn’t as crazy about him as others and didn’t see the draw of him. He was good, but not put on the repeat good. And then my entire view changed. Friday night, that boy took me for an emotional rollercoaster that I had not been prepared for, not even a little bit. His voice drew me in and his “sex faces” and his own personal version of “sex hair” left me in a state that was hard to recover from. I didn’t ever want to stop listening to his voice, and his CD has seriously been on repeat since the concert! Left to Lie and Dead and Done were simply amazing! My fandom is such to the point that I talked to Phil the Manager and am going to try and get Bobby to Oklahoma City. He told me he’d really like to come, so that is one of my new goals in life!
Marcus Foster
Encounter 1: So, didn’t get to meet Marcus till the meet and greet. Luckily I was in the first group in and one of the first ones to see him. He was signing my stuff and being totes adorable and shy (cause

that’s what he does) and I tried to take a picture when my camera starts the death beep! One of the publicity peeps with him smiles and says, “I know what that means.” Luckily, I am a good fangirl and am prepared and pull new batteries out of my huge yellow purse. Marcus is talking to someone else while I fumble with my camera and put batteries in, backwards of course. Open it back up and manage to literally throw the camera and I’m pretty sure it hit Marcus in the foot. I apologize (I seem to be doing that a lot) while he picks it up and hands it back to me, of course telling me it’s okay. Batteries in correctly, go to take a side shot and he turns and gets full face flash. Luckily he turns slightly and I get a cute little shy looking gem from him, but I feel so horrible. More apologizing, till I realize all hope is lost with Marcus and I move on to Bobby.
Enounter 2: The second encounter is pretty much my only encounter with Bobby as well, so I put it up there. But go reread it cause it’s important for Encounter 3!
Encounter 3: You read the above encounter and know that I am the ultimate fangirl hero by refusing a picture with the guys! After the Friday
Marcus is so shy and sweet! I just want to take him home and protect him. He can even have my daughter's security blanket!
show, the guys did a hectic meet and greet outside and I caught back up to Marcus. I just said “Hey, remember when I refused my picture earlier? It’s my turn now.” (PS Amber may or may not have had a lot of “liquid courage” by this point!) Marcus was like, “Oh yeah, yeah.” I got a genuine smile and a steller picture with him. He said thank you and I could totally see the appreciation on his face. I felt so awesome after that moment and I wouldn’t take it back for the world!
The Performance: If there was an award for the one who took me most by surprise, it was Marcus. First off, this was his first performance in the U.S. (why they chose Twicon, I have no idea!), but that makes me feel uber special. I was not even luke warm on Marcus. I had all the songs, but never listened to him. I just didn’t “get it.” But when he walked on that stage, he owned it. He is GREAT on the stage, shy yet confident all at the same time! He made me a believer with In Your Head and You My Love. Actually, every song was great, but I couldn’t post them all. But check my sources for more, please!!

Those of us at these shows really got treats since the Brit Pack was in full attendance (for the most part). We got duets and one amazing trio! Getting these made everything so worth it! The guys were just wonderful! Enjoy these!!
Seriously swooned and promise part of that screaming was me. Sorry. I could not hold it!

So I have been reading your blog for awhile now. There are lots of Twilight – Rob blogs out there but for some reason I just picked yours. Not enough time to go to them all. Anyway now I know why! Love the recap. Also love it that you are right on the edge of breaking into fangirl mode at every encounter. Restraint is hard around these Brits. I do my best not to fangirl, that is why I take my husband to the shows. He does not mind since he is usually 1 of a handful of men and seems to like the attention. You should really bring theshagdaddy. Hope you do decide to Blog on the trio a little more!

Ok I’m totally on board with your new mission seeing as I live in Stillwater and would absolutely LOVE to see them perform again. I was seriously impressed by all 3 of them and it was the best concert I have ever been to (I attended the Saturday show at the pub with all 3). I don’t think I have ever seen such personal performances from musicians before. I felt like I was watching a late night jam session!!!! It was a-freaking-mazing. There are videos on youtube that the girl sitting right next to me posted and you can totally hear me screaming and having my fangirl moments. Glad those were documented for me to remember!!!

Some of that screaming may be me too. True story. Sorry I helped ruin the opening of Broken, but unless people were there, they can’t even begin to understand how hard it was to not bum rush the stage and jump Marcus’ bones! But you were there, so you get it!

Great post, I know you worked hard on it, I love hearing about all your encounters with the guys!
I’m not sure where to start. That performance of Sea Blue was AMAZING! Sam is so energetic and his performances look like a lot of fun. I can see how you love him so much.
I have loved Bobby’s Music since the first time I heard him perform, his music seems to reach down and touch my soul. I also love Marcus and Bobby performing Crooked Sky together.that has been a fav of mine since I first heard it.
Everyone has said Marcus is amazing! I look forward to getting to know his music better.
I hope all the guys get to see the success they deserve I can’t wait until all the EP’s are out.

Oh man, reading about it makes me sad that we don’t know when we are going to see them again! Those two days were heaven and I could VERY easily get used to seeing them play everyday! *sigh*
And, I thought that all in all we did pretty good about reigning in the fangirly-ness….for the most part.
But those were the funniest moments of the night because at some point we all had them!

I can totally see the draw for the LoD girls. I said it once this weekend and I’ll say it again…
It’s a good thing I have a hubs and kids and real life responsibilities or else I’d have no money chasing this Rob/Brit Pack/Twilight obsession all over the country!
And FYI: Our Sam tweet was the best one thus far! We should have asked Marcus to tweet. That would have been hilarious!!

OME Amber! I felt the exact same way. Had it not been for these boys the weekend would’ve been a complete and utter waste for me but I digress, lol! They were absolutely fantastic. I went to all their shows as well and as if even possible each performance got better and better as the days went on. I truly wished it never had to end. It’s funny though cause I know exactly what you mean about feeling shaky and nervous around these guys. I’ve met Bobby quite a few times but no-matter what I always get extremely nervous around him. My heart pounds, my stomach gets queasy. Weird… They just do that to a person. I’m in my 30′s and I revert to a teenage star-struck girl if I’m anywhere near them. Ha!
Glad to see it wasn’t just me and my girls that felt this way over the weekend at TwiCon. Thankfully, the Brit Pack was there to save the day. Now if only Rob had made a surprise appearance… Ahh, to dream. LOL

Your account about Sam Bradley is so much like my encounter with him at his concert at Richards at Richards in Vancouver. Sam is such a sweet, charming and talented guy. He really takes the time to meet with you. I hope that doesn’t change as his career soars. And, I hope he can play in Seattle where I live. His songs are contagious, I kept humming it for days after!
I enjoyed reading your blog. I have yet to post a blog on my encounter with Sam, as well as having an hour view of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart enjoying Sam’s concert. But, you’ve given me the motivation to share my experience

Amber – I am sooooo on board with you! I too saw these boys at the TwiCon ball and absolutely fell in love with each one. Poor David’s Pub was an awesome experience – they all had me hook, line and sinker….I was laughing and crying, dancing, swaying, and grabbing my friend’s arm the entire night – I just had the biggest smile on my face…and can’t get enough of these boys!!! There was no place I would have rather been Saturday night. They blew me away!Loved your post!
