I’m so confused. There is a possibility I might have to make a declaration for Team Jacob.

Uh, Team Jacob? No thanks. I like to cheer for winners.
WHAT?!? Not THAT Team Jacob. No, never in a million years for that Team Jacob.
I’m talking about the main character in Water for Elephants, which Variety says Rob is in talks to play the main character, Jacob Jankowski who takes a job with a circus after he learns that his parents have been killed in a car crash,
leaving him penniless and unable to finish his veterinary degree.
Water for Elephants will be adapted from a novel that I am being told by numerous people that I need to read, regardless if Rob is in the movie or not. To that I say, okay. Why not? ::runs to Amazon::
I know there is a script floating around out there already for this movie (people move fast on these things), but I don’t read scripts so I’m just gonna make some awesome assumptions on reasons why Rob needs to be in this movie.
1. Hello?!? Reuniting with Reese Witherspoon! Duh!
Of course, Rob’s role was totally cut from Vanity Fair and it is only seen on the DVD, but if you don’t know, he played Reese’s son. In this role, he will play a more ::ahem:: romantic role with Reese’s character. And since I LOVE Reese, I so want to see this. Plus, Reese is major A-lister, which just give Rob more non-Twilight acting cred!
2. It’s Another Staring Role in a Bigger World then Summit.
I think everyone forgets… Summit is really more for independent movies. Twilight catapulted the company up, but at the same time, they are still no Warner Bros. or Fox. And it looks like Fox is backing Water for Elephants. Fox, people.

I wonder if Rob feels like talking to the animals... or at least scammin' on Reese.
That is huge.
3. Another Opportunity to See Rob on the Big Screen!
Okay, so when I started this blog, I knew Rob was gonna get big… and fast. But it seems like we have had to wait forever to see Rob in roles outside of Twilight. We started hearing about Remember Me, Bel Ami and Unbound Captives, but we knew Rob was still stuck in Twi-world. And now, finally, it looks like we’ll start having plenty of opportunities to see Rob the way it was intended, in 40 foot, high definition glory!
<———— P.S. How FREAKING HOT is this picture?!? Can’t… breathe…
Now book readers… here is what I want to know. Without spoiling too much, will there be #RobSexyTimes? Because if so, I am willing to start a freakin’ campaign to get Rob in this movie!! So tell me, what do you guys think? Are you all as excited as me about the potential behind this? (Variety seems confident Rob will sign!)
