Did you miss me yesterday? Yeah, so my plane got back pretty late on Sunday and I was exhausted, so I forgoed blogging. Will you ever forgive me? What if I promised a piggy back ride on Mountain Man Rob?
Yep, that’s right. Rob gives good piggy back ride. Just ask TomStu. He looks so happy. Sam looks sort of jealous, eh? Yeah, he’s laughing, maybe he already had his turn before the camera turned on. That seems the most likely reason.

So, were you all missing the beard as much as me? I mean, I love me some scruff. Being clean shaven all the time is just not for me. And with any reappearance of Rob into the world, we get hit with a slew of pictures of him doing things like walking, looking down and walking some more. Hawt? No? This afternoon, I’m hopping on a plane and heading to a conference out in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jealous? Don’t be. In fact, I’m pretty sure if you all knew the subject of said conference, you’d probably pay money not to have to go. But I’m a nerd, so I’m going to love it!
So, while I’ll be spending a good chunk of today on the plane, I thought we should reminisce back to some of Rob’s best pics whilst traveling. Let’s face it. The boy does not travel in style. But really, would it be the Rob way if he did?

Yes, I own a copy of The Bad Mother’s Handbook. Actually, I think I’ve had it for quite awhile seeing as we tricked out our DVD player to be region free so I could watch all of Rob’s movies when they were only available in the UK. Mama couldn’t wait. She needed her Rob now!

One of these things is not like the other!
All of sudden, without doing anything except becoming a hot sparkly vampire, Rob is not only on the cover, he is the star of this movie! Man, if you are looking at this before you buy, you are thinking you are gonna get lots of Rob, right?
Sadly, no. While he plays a great character (we all know a Daniel Gale!), he is a supporting actor in this movie. In fact, did they take the picture for this cover later, cause they seem to be trying to make him look like a hottie? Dropping the glasses, photoshopping the eyebrows, this is not Daniel Gale.
Well, just one more way a movie company is using Rob to move more DVDs. But I will say this, it’s a good watch. Especially if you’re a mom. You just get it. So if you don’t own this little gem yet, go. Go now and order it from Amazon!

It seems that someone, somewhere, is always one step ahead of me. As soon as it seems like I may be losing a bit of the Rob mojo, someone throws something out there that makes me go, yes, I’m still feeling the tingles.
And that someone threw out some new/old photo shoot pictures just proves that I must be doing something right in my life. Good kharma and all that, ya know. These pictures did things to me I saw the first few of them. Now that I can see them in all in a much better, much more smiley resolution, all is right in my Rob world.

Hunger Games Series
Squee! With the final book, Mockingjay, coming out in the series tomorrow and movies coming very soon, I expect this whole series to blow up in the same way Twilight did. Except, well, this ain’t no Twilight with sparkly vampires and such. Oh no. This series is pretty graphic, especially for being a young adult book. With some well done casting, some other young man may steal my heart.
If you all haven’t touched on these books yet, you need to. Plus, you won’t have to wait for the remainder of the trilogy like I did.

I was a little surprised to see that our little Mr. Robert Pattinson was numero uno (that’s number one in Spanish) in the Glamour UK 50 Sexiest Men poll thing. Not cause he’s not a hottie, cause duh, but cause he was up against some stiff (giggle) competition. But who knows. The poll had David Beckham at #20. 20?!? C’mon now.
Really? That’s the “sexy” photo you throw out there? Are all of your editors on Team Jacob or something? Jeebus. I can pick better sexy pictures of Rob in my sleep. And to prove that, here are some FAR better pictures that show the hottness way better then Glamour UK.

So, the blog was a little short. I decided I’d be a good wifey slash blogging partner in crime and help beef this up with some of my own commentary sprinkled throughout. Enjoy.

thoughts on Water for Elephants keep coming out more like a book report and I don’t want to do that. So let’s try this approach instead:
Read this book! Do it, do it now! There’s a woman who plays with her titties as a side show (Of course this would be the first thing he mentions. Gah. Boys.), a possibly well hung dwarf caught jerking it on a train, and an elephant that may or may not be as dumb as a pile of bricks. There are also fun Twi-related things to watch out for: Jacob, Edward, Hale, spider monkeys, virgin, and a frickin’ fade to black! (Yeah. The fade to black blows. I mean, not throw your book across the room blowing like in Breaking Dawn, but still. BOO!)
To be honest, I couldn’t relate to this book at all. Which is weird because I couldn’t stop reading and had no real reason to press on. I’ve never lost my parents or had a major freak out at college. I can’t recall ever hopping aboard a circus train and I know for certain I have never shoveled horseshit. (I’ve stepped in it. I bet TSD has too. It’s inevitable when you live in this part of the country.) I never fell in love with a co-worker’s wife (Um, good.), contemplated murder and have him kick the living hell out of me (even though I deserve an ass kicking, no reason in particular (THIS is so true.)). And finally, I have not yet left my retirement home to runaway with the circus. (There’s still time.)
And here is mine!!!
For the record, I did cry at parts of this book. (Um, you’d have to be heartless not to.) I also laughed, cried again, got angry, and (not to weird anybody out) got turned on a time or two (I’m totally weirded out.). Sorry if any spoilers make you not want to read the book, but I don’t think knowing some things will make the book any less better than it is.
And in conclusion, Rob keep making movies based on books so that I may continue reading instead of finding jacked up pics on the interwebs. (Can I get an AMEN?!?)

The only love life any of us need to be that concerned about is their own.
