Yesterday was a sad day in the Rob fandom. We lost a blog. Don’t get me wrong. Blogs come and go like nobody’s business. But this was pretty much the mother of all Rob blogs.
Robert Pattinson Life shut it down yesterday. This is a huge loss. So many of us got all of our major Rob news from the ladies that ran this show. But now it is no more.
I don’t really want to make any conclusions on anything. Basically, everything you need to know about what happened is in that link above. But I do want to get on my soap box for just a minute here…
Being part of a fandom is supposed to be fun. If it starts not being fun anymore, then it’s probably time to go. We all joke about how “Rob is life” but we all know at the end of the day, Rob is not life. We have plenty of other things we should be worried about, and for the most part, we are all there.
Eighty percent of our fandom is cool. We get it. We have fun and enjoy each other’s company. We love Rob in safe and normal ways. However, that other 20% is ruining it for us, and I hope some how, some way, it stops.
There, that is the end of my soapbox. I needed to get that off my chest in a bad way. And since I bored you with my opinion and all, I wanted to post something to cheer you up and get you through the day! Or at least cheer me up. The fandom has me down today. I was gonna post some hot pictures, but then I decided to go one step further.

I just don’t understand some ppl… we are all here with same “reason”, same obsession… and.. to do something like that, to someone who brings you this..whatever you wanted when you click on their page.. seriously pathetic and sad…
Life is bitch just for himself, and ti be cruel like that to someone who brings joy in your life…
just sad…

I’ve been out of commission in RL for a few days now and today (of all days) i hear that RPL has died.*tears*
I didn’t want to spend my b-day in mourning for one of my favorite sites. #sadpanda2

Very nicely said Amber, and it is very sad because we do all have real lives and real stress so when we find something we enjoy and people who enjoy the same thing its a shame that others have to ruin it!! This fun Robsession of ours is a stress reliever and the people that we get to talk to are the same so lets keep doing what we’re doing and appreciate each other

I know, it is a healthy break from our realities, and we all need that every once and awhile. Not to mention the fact that we are all just so fantasically funny and interesting and its our love of this one man that has brought us all together here. If i couldnt take a Rob breather during the day i would have either killed many or had quiet a few anxiety attacks by now!!
So i think i speak for everyone here Amber when i say we all appreciate what you do for us, keep it up and we <3 ya!!!

This is very sad – I loved RP Life – it always has the newest info – great pictures – nice and respectful comments for all… What a pity !!! Hate the Haters !
