Only One Video Today… The Reappearance of Rob!!

Alright, I am slightly embarrassed. I think I completely reverted back to a 13 year old fangirl, which I haven’t done in awhile. Nothing of Rob has come out in awhile that has awoken that fangirl in me to the point where I am simultaneously squeeing, smiling, getting goose bumps and falling in love (or lust, which I am DOWN with) all over again.

But this video. This video here did me in.

Don’t try and understand it. Just love the pretty.

The best part of this video is not just the reappearance of Rob. It’s the reappearance of Rob from two years ago. The silly, dorky boy we all fell in love with. I mean, this video is definitely a love rekindler for me.

Let’s talk about all the adork-ableness!

Just a couple A/V nerds, making a movie for high school. Awesome.

First off, let’s talk hair. I heard some people freaking out that the sex hair wasn’t in full form. Uh, the hair is there. This is a classic example of hat hair. I’m pretty sure this is how it went down…

(Rob shows up, wearing that damn hat.)

Peter: Rob, srsly. You can’t wear the hat.

Rob: Oh. Sorry.  (takes off hat and swipes down hair) That good?

Peter: Yep. Let’s do this.

How do I know this? Cause this is how boys are.

Secondly, how much do I love that this was all done for a high school tradition, and debuted at a high school assembly. I mean, do you think those kids heard anything after Rob appeared on the screen? Well, anything other then the screams from all the girls. I just love that Rob is a big ol’ softie that is willing to help out with something like this. It makes my heart all warm and fuzzy.

And another thing… it’s been a long time since we had a really quotable Rob. This video, well, I’m waiting on soundbites for:

“You gotta stop hanging out in my backyard.”

“I don’t use the phone.”

“Idiot.”

Someone get on that. That voice. That voice kills me every time.

The Rob Drought is over… well, at least until tomorrow.

Six Degrees of ROB-separation — Guest Post from @BoydBlog & @CandyTwi

I got this post late last night and it was too good not to post as soon as possible. Plus,  I really didn’t want to write about the fake Simon Cowell story or the fact that new Superman comic has a very Robilicious looking Superman. (It’s true. Google it.)

I like this because it makes me feel like we have a lot less time to wait on Rob, and that’s what I need!

As we trudge across the Rob desert (it seems a long time between drinks – Eclipse released four months ago!) we are beginning to clutch at straws for any Rob sustenance to keep us going until we can get our fill of the Beautiful once again…

I did notice you all left out something verrry important… WATER FOR ELEPHANTS! I think there will be some manhandling moments in that movie as well, although not nearly as many as Bel Ami. ;) Which means I couldn’t forget a picture of that!

And, in case you are wondering, in the original “6 degrees” game, I have been deemed to be only 1 degree away from Rob! WOO HOO! That’s the benefit of meeting, chatting up and buying Sam a beer. I figure since Sam remembers my name when I see him, it counts as 1 degree! One day, I WILL close that gap!

Reminiscing About Rob Porn — 3rd Edition

All ‘The Buried Life’ Guys Manage to Do is Remind Me I Missed Rob

Confession… I’m writing this blog without watching The Buried Life. So if I say something silly that, after the show, no longer makes sense, realize that is why.

So, I’m sure you’ve all heard about this show and the fact that the guys on it were dared to get a lock of Robert Pattinson’s hair. I watched the little preview here and I went on ahead and DVR’d it. I’ll watch it tomorrow. Maybe. You tell me.

Really, more then anything, this video managed to make me sad. Probably for reasons you don’t realize . Let me explain…

The guys are hurrying over to a club in Hollywood cause they heard Rob is there. That club is the Hotel Cafe, which Rob went to go and support his bud, Sam Bradley, who was playing that night. In fact, he went there to support 3 out of the 4 times Sam Bradley played at the Hotel Cafe.

I saw that alley way they are walking through and realized, “Hey! My drunk ass stood right there.” See?

 

Alley? Check. Sam? Check. Drunk Amber? Double Check. Rob? ... :(

 

I love that about having gone to Hollywood now. It’s cool to recognize some of those places I saw in real life.

Then it hit me.

I was at the Hotel Cafe, totally supporting Sam Bradley, but I managed to go the ONE night Rob wasn’t there.

And that makes me sad panda.

Let me tell you first and foremost… when I bought the ticket, I didn’t think there was even a chance Rob would show. At all. It wasn’t about that for me. I <3 Sam as well. (I mean, I do run a blog supporting him also!) But it wasn’t till I guess a month later that I put it all together.

I missed him.

Oh well, I still got to see the pretty in person, and that was (almost) good enough for me.

Well, I guess I am happy ‘The Buried Live’ guys tracked down Rob at what I’m guessing is the Teen Choice Awards. Kudos to them.

 

Yay for you. ::sigh::

 

I guess if I had unlimited funds from MTV, I could make this happen too. Maybe one day….

You may have seen my tweet. Maybe not. I was destroyed this weekend by a trifecta of kids, including my 3 & 5 year olds and the addition of my 9 year old brother. Yeah. I said brother. I’m pooped and I was going through my Google Alerts and realized I needed a day to recover so I could fully comprehend what they said. And since Stephanie sends me something just about once a week, today is her day! Again!

Oh, and I learned how to post blogs from Word today. That was the highlight of my day! So guest posters… send your blogs in Word and make me happy! ;)

So since I get yelled at by my friend Jessie the other day that I rushed though the last blog I sent to Amber and it clearly didn’t have enough pictures (which I 100% agree with and apologize for, I’m gonna go ahead and say that was my bad!!) I am going to try to make up for it. And since yet again it looks like a bad week with no end in sight, I’m sure I could use a plethora of Rob porn, and really who couldn’t? So what do you say ladies? Let’s do this!!!

A Bad Video Week This Week

I guess everyone was just not in a Rob mood this week. I can always tell when that happens because the videos dwindle down to almost nothing. I don’t know where all my go to vid makers were this week, but it wasn’t in front of their computers making videos, that’s for sure.

Luckily there was one, and  just the tip vid, from this week to feed you guys. But after all your sweet words on yesterday’s blog, I don’t feel like it’s enough sooooo I dug into the archive and found some older videos that I love and need to be revisited.

Out of my Mojo and Jumping on the Soapbox

Forgive me today. I came to do my blog for the day and got hit with something that really took me out of the mood. Bad.

But it made me want to get very serious on here and jump on my soapbox.

Over a year ago (February 2009), I started this blog. Before many of the other Rob blogs, mind you. It was never going to be a Rob blog, but just ended up going that way because I had the bug. Posting was easy because everything was so new with Rob, and for some strange reason, people (a lot of people) started reading my blog.

This blog is my baby. I love it. I’ve worked hard on it and I am, in a wierd way, pretty proud of it. I’ve used this blog to not only drool over Rob, but learn things like social media, HTML, etc., things that I use in my job every day. I am now my own company’s web master because of what I’ve learned here. (Thanks Rob!!)

As time goes on, it is sometimes harder and harder to keep things exciting. Not every post is a winner. I know that. I’ve accepted that. But I post because I love you guys and I love loving Rob with you all. And I hate to disappoint you all. Every day I post, I am always nervous that everyone will hate it. That they will go away. That’s what happens when you put yourself out there every day. Hell, I’m nervous you’ll get mad at this post.

I’ve been very lucky. My haters have been minimal, and most them, laughable.

But, when people say things to me that basically make it sound like 1) I don’t know what I am doing with my blog or 2) Infer that I don’t know what’s going on with Rob, it kind of irritates me. A lot. I have the most stalker-esque Google Alerts you can imagine set up to basically ensure I don’t miss anything on Rob.

Regardless of anything, I spend, easily, 10 hours a week on this blog. Most weeks more. I don’t make a dime off doing this everyday. I do it because I enjoy it and I think you all enjoy it. So when that one person makes comments, it gets me out of my mojo.

You may have noticed that several famous fandom people have quit the fandom. KStew411 and RPLife are the two that really stick out. And the reason they quit is because of a few people who make it not fun anymore. I’m not planning on quitting. I’ve put way too much time and effort into this blog to quit on a whim because one person got on my bad side. But I just wanted to let you all know that I do this for you. If there is something you don’t like, that’s fine. Tell me, but in a nice way. Or do like some have done and write a guest post. But leaving nasty comments on the blog just isn’t cool.

Reminiscing About the Rob Porn — 2nd Edition

Bicycle, BICYCLE! Rob’s Got Himself a Bicycle!

Um. Before you do anything else, please listen to this song. I would like it to serve as the soundtrack to your reading. And I kind of love when a song already in existence so perfectly fits my blog. Esp when it’s Queen!

Now that you got that going, word in NOLA (that’s the hip term for New Orleans, in case you aren’t hip) is Rob bought a bike. No. Really. In fact, it made the news.

One of the stars of the “Twilight” movie series stopped by a Baton Rouge bicycle shop while he was in town this weekend and left with a new bike.

Workers at Capitol Cyclery on Essen Lane confirmed that Robert Pattinson, who plays the vampire Edward in the films, visited the store over the weekend and bought a new bike.

An employee said Pattinson “wasn’t there to be a big celebrity” and that they had received other calls about the visit.

“It’s getting a bit out of hand,” the employee said.

Um, the employee comment slays me. I think the next thing out of his mouth must of been, “Stop fucking calling.” C’mon bicycle shop! That’s not good PR!

And now all I can think about is Rob on a bicycle. I don’t know whether to laugh or be slightly turned on. Cause he so damn un-athletic that I wonder if should have added training wheels. When I think Rob on bike, this immediately comes to mind…

But then I remember this…

And think, hmmm… maybe it’s hot. I don’t know. Jury’s out until we see some pictures. Here’s hoping they pop up very, VERY soon!

Who’s Excited for Set Pictures?! Me, Me, Me!

As with most of the Rob fans, Twilight is what brought me in. Rob is the reason I stay. And it is now, officially, Breaking Dawn time and I am excited. Excited for set pictures. Excited for the movies (no matter that I still think it should’ve been 1). And, mostly, excited for the Twilight movies to end. I know, I know. I’m just really excited to see what else Rob (and several of the other cast members) will do.

But I digress. I am really excited, right now, for set pictures! Rob filming a movie means plenty of fodder for the blogging fire, and I am ready!! The first batch is a good one. Enjoy!
