Very interesting mix here. Not much going on in the Rob video world, so I had to move on to Edward based videos (which I try not to do too much cause I like Rob as Rob), and even a Kristen video which was a long time coming. watched in awhile that has not had Rob there, either as a presenter, a winner or even just making the audience more beautiful by sitting there.
And I have to say… it’s a little nice.
Not because I don’t want hot pictures, cause I do. Not because I don’t like seeing awkward (or possible drunk) Rob up on the stage, cause I do. Not because I don’t want to hear all the inappropriate jokes the other stars make about how hot you are, cause I do.
Mainly because I can watch the award show and just…….relax.
No stress of live tweeting every Robilicious move. I don’t have to keep my eyes peeled on the TV because if I don’t, I may miss Rob.
I can actually enjoy it, and take it for what it’s worth. And if it’s boring, I don’t feel any obligation to keep watching. Awwwww… nice.
Couple quick words on it all:
Anyone who is really upset about Rob or Kristen not winning need to take a step back and look at it all. Rob and Kristen have long careers ahead of them, and plenty of time to win awards that really don’t matter (like People’s Choice Awards). They are up against A-list veterans that are amazing and have been around a long time.
AND, it’s freaking Johnny Depp. I love Rob (look around you, it’s obvious!), but it is JOHNNY DEPP! Rob will get there one day. I have faith. But not today. Sorry.
However, mad props to Rob, KStew and TayTay for winning best ensemble! That is something, and honestly, probably the one category that I definitely agree on them winning! It almost seems like they created the category just for them…
Queen Latifah is a bad ass host, classy and funny all at the same time! LOVE HER!
In fact, she had a freakin’ awesome parody with Robward, that I got a teeny tiny snippet of have the FULL version of now, thanks to rosebellas.
Note from Amber: I was hesitant to post this. I am very neutral when it comes to all of this, and I like to stay that way. Talking about Robsten is almost like talking about politics. No matter what you say, someone drags you through the mud and makes you feel like crap. When TheShagDaddy said he wanted to write this and just put his opinion out there once and for all, I couldn’t deny him that. I hate that I actually had to think about it because I have plenty of friends on both sides of the fence and would not want to lose one of them for something that is written on my blog. I think the fandom should be fun, and this is one of the few topics that we should be able to have fun with, but often can’t. I hope you enjoy a man’s view of Robsten!

I have been asked several times whether I was Robsten or Nonsten. I have done a decent job of avoiding the question thus far, but have decided that it was time to lose followers by offering my thoughts on the matter. I do want to say that it seems EVERYBODY has an opinion about it and NO ONE is willing to listen to anybody else and I won’t be any different.
Okay, so let’s get to it…If there is a Robsten, doesn’t it kind of ruin the fantasy people get to have about Rob…and Kristen? Say, for instance, you’re walking around downtown and you spot Rob as he walks out of a Bath and Body Works. You finally get to tell him what a huge fan you are and how much you appreciate his work. At this point he runs his hand through his hair and says thanks, suddenly Kristen runs up, grabs his hand and kisses him. I don’t think you are going to be all giddy seeing this in person, when most likely you were thinking “How am I going to seduce Rob whilst no one is around?” and now you have to walk away knowing that you will NEVER get a chance like that again. What I’m saying here is that if they are indeed together than that means women have no chance of being with Rob and men have no chance of nailing Kristen.

I’ve contemplated several days about this, deciding whether or not I wanted to write about this or not. But, seeing how people keep asking my opinion on it all, I think I should do this and I’ll let you allfigure out what you think.
Last week, MTV sent me a press release about 2 new shows they are planning on showing later tonight, one called “Love Bites” and “New Moon Revealed.” Here are the descriptions they sent to me:
“Love Bites” gets up close and personal chronicling the budding rumored romance between Pattinson and Stewart from its early stages through present day. MTV digs into the archives to give viewers a look at their first, very intimate audition on a casting couch and their first interview, where the two candidly talk about nights spent together. Hitting the streets of Vancouver and Portland where the films were shot, viewers will find out what goes on when the cast has down time and what local bars, restaurants and locations they frequent, as well as hear from people who see them when they are off camera. From rumors of an engagement, to nasty break-ups and even nights with other celebrities, the love life obsession with the cast is at an all-time high, so when it comes to “Twilight,” love certainly bites.
In “New Moon Revealed” MTV News will continue to provide fans with unrivaled access to the “Twilight” saga. So, I really have no issue with the latter of the two, other then I am getting a bit burned out on all the New Moon and I probably won’t be watching it. Friday is coming up fast and furious so I don’t need all this piblicity now to hold me over. We are almost there! ::happy dance::
But this whole “Love Bites” thing is kind of rubbing me the wrong way. After I read the description, I felt a bit sick about it all.
Today, I’m taking a break from Rob. I mean, we all know he deserves it and he needs to regain his energy for the weekend. I’ve got plans for him.
So, who is my spotlight for today? None other then the Queen of Badassness, Kristen Stewart! Why do I say this? Well, because her photo shoot for Interview Magazine was released today and I’m serious when I say this… the girl crush is off the charts. And that is in spite of the mullet. I know not all of my peeps may keep up with KStew’s bad ass, so here are the pictures (and my personal commentary!) in case you missed them.
Wow. Girlfriend looks effing sexy right here. I swear, I want to duplicate her eye makeup for my next outing, cause it is HAWT! FYI - This one has TheShagDaddy‘s seal of approval, in fact, this was his response earlier today.
Sometimes, it’s okay for there to be no news. And right now, this is one of the those days where I’d prefer the no news option to the horrible, rumor filled crap that has caused 90% of my posts on my Google reader to be speculation about Rob and Kristen.Yesterday, I just ignored it. Today, I feel like I have to do something. That something is my decision to boycott blogging for today. I hope you guys can appreciate what I am doing here and understand. This is the only thing I have that will make any kind of minutely small impact, so I have to take it.
But I don’t want to leave you with absolutely nothing. You do get one absolutely smokin’ Rob picture just for stopping by. Love you guys, and back to my regularly scheduled programming on Monday.

Are you ready? My dear, sweet husband has offered some guy’s insight to Twilight. As you all know, he has been reading the series and was a featured unicorn on Letters to Twilight. And, wow, he really has some great thoughts. But hey, you aren’t here to hear me talk, so now, the man of the hour, my first ever guest blogger… TheShagDaddy.
Three books down and only one to go, but f*ck sake does it have to be so much thicker than the others? I would have waited until the entire saga was before doing this blog for Amber but I feel I won’t read it as fast at New Moon and Eclipse. Amber tells me that the Twilight/Twitter world wants a guy’s point of view on all this craziness known as Bella. I will do my best to oblige to the request but seeing as I have never blogged at all before who knows how this will go.
Let me start by saying that I watched the movie before reading the books, I have always hated the idea of being one of those people who are like ‘Hey that’s not how it went in the book!’. Okay, so I actually saw the movie three or fourteen times before reading the book (can’t get enough of that Kristen Stewart) but the real reason for reading Twilight was to mess with the wife. I figured I could learn some things that weren’t in the movie and when we discuss the movie I could sound super in tuned to the plot and picked up on things that only true Twilighters would know. I was able to get a shocked expression a couple of times and I think she was getting wise to me, but she probably just thought I was getting info off the net. I will say it wasn’t easy to secretly read the book, because I didn’t want the book to come up missing by taking it to work so I would read it a little bit at a time while Amber was playing Guitar Hero. What made it hard is that our 3 year son would see me reading Twilight and yell ‘ THAT’S MOMMY’S BOOK!!‘ and I would quickly hide under the chair in case she heard him but amazingly she never did. Finally, I realized if I admitted what I was doing that it might increase my odds of getting laid and I still feel like that’s true. However, after telling Amber I was reading Twilight she got overly excited because we would be able to talk so much more about the book than we could about the movie. Great, that’s what I wanted..to talk to the wife. But honestly I got hooked on Bella and Edward pretty quick and finally had to take the book to work just to get extra reading time in. I’ll tell you that it wasn’t easy to bring a book to a production shop filled with guys who only knew that teenie boppers read the book. But I told them the reason and they laughed but left me alone for the most part.

So, I’m sitting here thinking, “Good Lord, I only watched this trailer about 250 times, how could I possibly not spot something like this?” The next thought, is this some kind of photoshopped screencap to make us all laugh. Yep, time to watch the trailer again to see if I can spot it myself:

Hopefully, editing peeps are paying attention and go ahead and take care of this before the final product, but personally I find this absolutely hilarious. Not only do I not really picture Bella as a “thong” girl, but I really don’t even picture KStew that way. She must have had some dirty plans for ol’ Oregano (not Rob, you know I’m not down with Robsten, sorry!). Cause, let’s face it. NO ONE wears a red thong unless they plan on getting some. It’s just a fact.
But hey, I’d much rather see KStew in a thong then with her bong. (Hey, I’m a poet and didn’t know it!) Oh, and yes, I feel dirty and slightly pervy for writing this post. AND I’m well aware Rob is NOT the main feature today, but hey, this whole Twilight business has “robbed my world” too, so it all works! And since it’s pretty obvious I’m turning into a Kristen fan (SHOCK!), then she gets to be playfully made fun of the way we all do Rob.
