Someone in Baton Rouge FINALLY Got a Camera. Took ‘Em Long Enough…

This whole Breaking Dawn movie has almost felt as if it wasn’t even happening. I mean, are we even sure that they are really in Baton Rouge filming? How can there be no photographic proof? Fans in Louisiana can’t be THAT normal, right? Pictures or it didn’t happen.

And finally… PROOF! Robward still exists!

Now, I could bore you with all the far away “is that so and so?” and “which ones Rob again?” pictures, or we can jump right into it. No playing around here. All I want to see is the super creepily zoomed in ones where I can make completely inaccurate predictions of Rob’s mood and/or thoughts at the time.

Bet he’s just counting down the days till he can quit wearing that awful makeup. I know I am.
With the movies in Rob’s current and immediate future, seeing him in a wedding ring ain’t gonna be no big thang anymore.

What do you think of the pics? Not great, but at least we kn0w they weren’t lying to us, right? Cause I was starting to have my doubts. And you can’t trust Summit.

Why Can’t All Weeks Be This Good… Friday Video Day!

This was a really good week for vids. I mean, damn. Why can’t all weeks be this good? Who knows. Let’s enjoy it while we have it. Honestly, I could have posted more, but there were so many “just the tip” ones and I didn’t want to go crazy.

Let’s All Be Cool: Razzies, Oscars, Who Cares?

Yep. I am starting to miss this.

Goodness. We are hardcore in yellow on the Rob Drought advisory scale. I went back to read my description on yellow and I tell you… I nailed it!

 

YELLOW = Drought Risk: ELEVATED

It’s been about a week. No sign of Rob. Hmm. I’m started to miss him, but not too much. Although, the well for blog postings is starting to run dry. It sure would be nice for him to stick his head out soon and give me some good jawporn to talk about. I’m a bit worried this lapse of sightings may draw out.

I think this elevated status of Rob missing-ness is making people lose their cool.

For example, the Oscars and the Razzies. Yeah, Rob was nominated for a Razzie. Okay. So what? I mean, we all know Twilight is the butt of all of the Hollywood jokes, not matter how much money it makes, so of course the movie and the main actors are going to get nominated for the Razzie. Do I think they deserved to throw Remember Me in there? No, but I am over it. Well, I was never even under it. I just don’t care.

But damn, some people were really angry. I mean, really angry. Everyone knows he was nominated last year, right? It’s not that big of a deal. Let’s concentrate on looking forward in the career, not backward. You’ll be much happier that way.

BUT, let’s not get all crazy with the forward looking. Since the Oscar list came out today, people were already getting antsy about next year’s noms, and some were throwing Rob’s name out there. I mean, I would love to see that as much as the next person, but we haven’t even SEEN Water for Elephants yet. A bunch of people thought Remember Me would be the break out, Oscar-nominated role as well before it came out. But, uh, that didn’t quite go as planned now did it?

So, I am begging all of you… let’s just play it cool fangirls. Let’s not be those crazy fangirls that every one is rolling their eyes at. Let’s be normal. Let’s enjoy all the build up and good things that are being said, but not go too crazy.

And srsly, let’s start a freakin’ countdown to April, cause I cannot wait. Actually, I cannot wait till March when all the promos start. Promos make for such good blogging fodder.

Shall we watch the trailer again? Cause honestly, that’s what I do right now when I get to missing Rob.

Sometimes I Am Creeped Out, Yet Completely Fascinated

Sometimes I see videos that kind of creep me out. And I can’t even figure out why.

That’s what happened with the following videos. I can’t figure out why they are creeping me out, but I feel like I am looking at something I’m not supposed to be seeing. This fan, this lucky, lucky fan, got to sit like 2 rows behind the trinity at the People’s Choice Awards. And well, watch and see… (p.s. There is major fangirling that happens. Your speakers have been warned.)

Why do I feel weird? It’s like I’m peeking in on some private convo, even if I can’t hear anything. But at the same time… I am completely fascinated. Like, I can’t stop watching. I’m trying to determine body language and read lips, which I am terrible at. And then I feel guilty for trying to gleam so much from so little.

I can’t blame the girl for getting this. I mean, I probably would have done the same had I hide the mind set to be able to hold a camera steady enough since I’ve pretty much proven that I will hyperventilate if Rob is within 200 yards of me.

What do you all think of these vids? Are they just as fascinating to you? Or do you feel that twinge of guilt? Or both, like me?

Whew. I’m feeling all kids of mind f*cked all over the place. Really. Mind is constantly blown. And not in a good way. In a “I really have no idea what is going on” kind of way. It probably doesn’t help that I don’t do the assigned reading until about 8 p.m. on Sunday night so I don’t give myself the time to really understand what is happening. So it’s my fault, but that’s why I have all of you!

So anyway, stop here if you have not read the 2nd chapter OR don’t want to be spoiled. The rest of you, hit that jump!

Bel Ami… The Little Movie That Could

I’m starting to feel like Bel Ami is like the ‘Little Engine that Could”. It keeps trying to push up that mountain, and we all keep on hoping it will make it. It’s definitely been a crazy ride so far, but as long as we keep getting these little gifts, I will enjoy it.

I’m gonna assume this is a still from early in the movie, since SPOILER ALERT 1) he appears to actually be writing (we all know he quits that later in the book); and, 2) he just looks younger and slightly rougher. More like a man still on the bottom rung then on the top. Either way, Rob continues to look all yummy in this period clothing.

And, a potential bright spot on the site with this image… there is a document on the site that lists a potential release time frame… autumn. Could mean anything. They could even be completely wrong. However, using this marketing background I have, this is how I would do it…

Of course, we all know the first round of Breaking Dawn will be out in November. The end of November to be exact. That means sometime in October, the madness from the Twilight fans will begin to set in. They will do anything to see some part of the movie… even if it’s just a little piece of Rob in the little indie film that could. No, I am not above using Twilight promo to help benefit our little engine that could. It makes good sense. And maybe the Bel Ami people are thing that. Or not. Who knows?

All I know is this, give me Rob sexing it up in a period piece soon, or mama is not gonna be happy. And you don’t want to see mama when she’s not happy.

What do you all think? Can you make it till the end of the year? Or were you kind of hoping for a summer release in order to spread the Rob out through the year?

Oh, and speaking of Twilight, this sweet girl sent me an email about her dissertation where she is surveying fans. So, if you have a spare 5 minutes, help her out and take it!

New Lead Actress, New Outtake and a Not-So-New #WFE Trailer

I wouldn’t call this a super busy day in the Rob world. It was basically just busy enough to keep us all on our toes. And I mean literally…

New Lead Actress in Cosmopolis?

Well, yes, but the real question is… who? See, here is what happened.  The original lead, Marion Cottilard, got hit by that pregnancy bug going around Hollywood. Srsly. Don’t drink the water around there. It’s an epedimic. So, magically, Keira Knightly’s named popped up on the site as being in the film. Replacing Marion? Maybe. Just about the time I started getting excited (I’ve been a Knightly fan since Bend it Like Beckham), her name magically disappeared from the site. Like it was never there…

Weird.

So, here is what we know. There will be  new lead. We aren’t really sure who it is. Maybe Keira. And the Cosmopolis site people need to learn they are being monitored hard core by the Rob fans. Cause that’s what we do.

New Outtakes!

This I know for sure. There were 2 new outtakes from the shoot that keeps on giving. Although, can I be honest? Are we in the trust tree? ::whispers:: I don’t really think they are that good. Sorry. Rob looks like he needs a good night’s sleep and a cuddle, from me of course.

Not-So-New Trailer

Then MTV tried to fool us all. They were advertising this trailer as the new international trailer for Water for Elephants. I was all jazzed, till I watched it and realized it was what was released in Finland. Which makes sense, cause um, Finland is international.

But of course, I watched it a couple times, you know, since I already had it open. So you should too. I still get the chills!

Oh, and I so downloaded the song from the trailer since it’s brill. It makes me want to cry. You should too. It’s Please Don’t Go by Barcelona. I think if this one song is any indication, I may need to buy the whole album!

Time for the Let Down…

Are you all feeling it? Sometimes, when there are too many green days in a row, the yellow days just feel UGH. I’m too busy trying to earn back all the time lost trying to keep up with Rob. And it’s rough. So, what I’m trying to say is…. I’m not really in a bloggy mood today. Sorry about that.

Instead, I’m gonna workout, do some work, read a book and go to bed. Yep. That is the equivalent to my day off. Promise I will be back tomorrow. I can’t leave faces like this alone forever.

Need something to do?? Get caught up on the Cosmopolis book club! We’ll be discussing chapter 2 on Monday. And if you haven’t gotten a chance to contribute to the chapter 1 discussion, go NOW! It’s been ah-mazing!
