Rob SWEEPS MTV Movie Awards…and me, right off my feet!!

I am still fangirl-ing like crazy right now, but I am going to try and write this post anyway. If there are random squees or black outs, I’m sorry. I just can’t help it!! SQUEEEEEE

First off, let me just say that I CANNOT remember the last time I watched the movie awards. I feel confident saying it’s been years. But look what Rob and Twilight have done to me. I’m sitting here squeeing like a little fangirl, shaking with anticipation, watching the New Moon trailer about 20 million times and have already downloaded it to my computer for future viewing!

So here is what is going to happen… I’m going to do this in order of the night and it let’s you RELIVE my experience… which was AMAZING!!! SQUEEEEEEE

First Twilight award, and of course, Rob and Cam take it home!! Was anyone REALLY shocked? No, but I was still squeeing cause we got the first real taste of Rob, starting off the night right! YES!!! Afterwards, Rob said winning the award made him “feel tough…and hard.” I.AM.DIED

SQUEEEEEEE!!! And he was too cute with his little list so he wouldn’t forget anyone. *swoon* Alright, I better move on before I pass out…

Just One Year Ago… Looking Back on the ’08 Movie Awards

As we get ready for this evening and the screams that will be heard world wide when the New Moon trailer is officially unveiled on the MTV Movie Awards tonight, I think it’s important that we look back to last year’s awards and see how Twilight really has changed EVERYTHING!

First off, a lot of us did not even have Twilight or Robert Pattinson on on our radar. Gasp… I know. Yes, everybody, I am a late comer to this game.But hey, let’s face it, better late then never!

Secondly, watch the fans…see how they aren’t even really looking in the direction of Rob and Kristen. Big difference to now, where red carpets are now full of screaming, crying and even fainting over the sight of Rob. In fact, from what I’ve read, it appears that after walking the carpet once, the Twilight stars had to go back and walk again so the press would realize they were actually actors. Can you believe it?!?

And finally, do they not seem to be completely underestimate the craziness that is coming on their horizon? Maybe they couldn’t see it (I mean, Alice is just a fictional character) or maybe they were just hoping it wouldn’t get to that point. For whatever reason, I love the real innocence of it all!

What Are You Doing Sunday Night? Hanging With Me on Twitter!

Are you ready? I mean, are you seriously ready for this? If you aren’t sure, you better watch this:

Oh yes, what a tease. These people know what they are doing with a clip like this, cause I am literally dying to see the rest!!

MTV promo people, you are true geniuses! I bow down to you for hooking us up! I’m not sure when was the last time I watched the movie awards, but I am on it this year, from beginning to end!

The MTV Movie Awards, as you all know cause you voted like crazy for Rob as I instructed you to do, are coming up tomorrow night at 9 ET/8 CT and we are going to celebrate like crazy on Twitter. We will talk Rob, his hair, his clothing, his lack of underwear, EVERYTHING while watching him sweep all his categories. You will not want to miss this EPIC event!!

Are you not hooked up on Twitter yet? Well you need to get on it NOW!! Here’s a little bit of help to get you started!

If you are on Twitter, then I’m sure you are familiar with trending, and we will definitely need a Rob/MTV specific hash tag for that night. Should it be simple, like #robmtv, or maybe a bit more, like #robdominatesmtv? (Sorry, I just wanted an excuse to use the word dominate in the same phrase as Rob’s name! Really what I want it to be is #robdominatesme but that may not work out.) Post what you think a good hashtag will be, and maybe that’s what we’ll all end up using!

Now for MY Big Push…Vote for Rob!!

The MTV Awards are this Sunday and we all know that Rob and those other two Twilight peeps… oh yeah, Kristen and Jacob, will be there to present some awesome New Moon footage. See, I already know it will be awesome, cause it has to be. But wouldn’t it be nice if Rob could collect some awards while he is there? Of course it would, so you all need to get on the horn and VOTE!!

Here are the categories for Rob! (Just click on  the buttons to vote!)

Breakthrough Performance: Male Resist the urge to vote for a cute kid or the guy from Slumdog Millionaire (which I am sure was good, but haven’t seen it yet). You can justify it this way, its the only award that will get Rob on stage alone, this really is the role that is jump starting his career and you know what, he really effing deserves it. He deserves some award for having to put up with all the crazy Twi-hards!

Best Kiss We all know this has got to be the winner, hands down. No other kiss was even close to as hot as this one. Of course, that’s mainly cause Rob was not involved in any other kiss, so the others never stood a chance. This is the kiss that made my husband a unicorn. True story.

Best Fight If you don’t vote for this because of Rob, then you should vote because of Cam Gigandet and his AWESOME “Funny or Die” video. I mean, we really should give Cam as much love as we can. He doesn’t get to keep riding the Twilight franchise gravy train like everyone else!
