Oh yes, it is finally that time. Promo time! Water for Elephants is literally around the corner and I am one eager beaver to see this movie. I mean, how could I not be? Look how freakin’ adorable Rob is in this behind the scenes vid!
I swear, the interviews are the best part of promo time. I love his little “spoilers” and comments about being professional during the sex scenes. Like he didn’t intend to be professional, which with the way Resse was talking, she may not have minded too much. But I mean, really, can we blame her?
And what was on the tv was just a wee bit different….
While I like the interviews from the first vid better, this one wins for showing Rob dancing. I knew it was coming, but I still may or may not have squeed a bit when I saw him actually dancing. I guess cause I mainly pictured it slower, while this was a bit of a faster pace, which I find more exciting. Plus, since I really did enjoy the book, it is so amazing to see things like the parade come to life.
This is just the beginning ladies. Just the beginning… welcome to WFE promo! Here is hoping for more sooner rather then later!
This was a really good week for vids. I mean, damn. Why can’t all weeks be this good? Who knows. Let’s enjoy it while we have it. Honestly, I could have posted more, but there were so many “just the tip” ones and I didn’t want to go crazy.

New Lead Actress in Cosmopolis?
Well, yes, but the real question is… who? See, here is what happened. The original lead, Marion Cottilard, got hit by that pregnancy bug going around Hollywood. Srsly. Don’t drink the water around there. It’s an epedimic. So, magically, Keira Knightly’s named popped up on the site as being in the film. Replacing Marion? Maybe. Just about the time I started getting excited (I’ve been a Knightly fan since Bend it Like Beckham), her name magically disappeared from the site. Like it was never there…
Weird.
So, here is what we know. There will be new lead. We aren’t really sure who it is. Maybe Keira. And the Cosmopolis site people need to learn they are being monitored hard core by the Rob fans. Cause that’s what we do.
New Outtakes!
This I know for sure. There were 2 new outtakes from the shoot that keeps on giving. Although, can I be honest? Are we in the trust tree? ::whispers:: I don’t really think they are that good. Sorry. Rob looks like he needs a good night’s sleep and a cuddle, from me of course.
Not-So-New Trailer
Then MTV tried to fool us all. They were advertising this trailer as the new international trailer for Water for Elephants. I was all jazzed, till I watched it and realized it was what was released in Finland. Which makes sense, cause um, Finland is international.
But of course, I watched it a couple times, you know, since I already had it open. So you should too. I still get the chills!
Oh, and I so downloaded the song from the trailer since it’s brill. It makes me want to cry. You should too. It’s Please Don’t Go by Barcelona. I think if this one song is any indication, I may need to buy the whole album!
Of course yesterday we started book club, so I didn’t get to talk at all about all the goodies that came out this weekend. And really, we were in the freakin’ green all weekend. I could barely stand it. Or keep up. And I’m pretty sure my external drive almost blew up. So let’s go through it and we’ll look at some of my fave things that happened.
We heard there would be reshoots for Water for Elephants, but everyone seemed to think Rob would not be there for them. Guess what? They were wrong. Rob was so there, and looked SO good!
P.S. Um…. people are not putting the warnings out there, but I think some of the pictures are a bit spoilerish unless you’ve at least read the book. So I’m gonna put a jump here. Do it at your own risk!
It was 5 p.m. I was driving in my car and checking my Twitter. At the stop lights, people. I want to LIVE! And I saw the tweet that a pic of Edward and Bella was shown on the TV. The first REAL pic from the set of Breaking Dawn. AND on top of that, it was from the honeymoon and everyone kept talking about them being in a very compromising position. With Edward on top. Just how I always imagined it. ::sigh::
So, the excitement was building, people were going bat shit crazy on Twitter and all I am thinking is, this is it. The holy grail of all movie stills. I run and open the still and I get this:

That was it? I am so underwhelmed.
I’m guessing you all think I am crazy right? It’s Rob naked in a bed. How could I not be all fangirly?
Well, first, it’s Rob’s naked shoulders. I’d be excited if I hadn’t already seen that and more in Remember Me. To me, this is just a continued reminder of how downplayed the scenes will be anyway since it’s a PG-13 movie. This isn’t fan fiction people. It’s still fade to black.
You know what I do like about this picture? The color is gorgeous. Robward looks amazing and sweet and so much less pale. Kristen’s skin is flawless, which makes me sick with jealousy. I definitely see Edward and Bella, even if it isn’t that much different then some of the better manips peeps have been making.
Maybe I’m just getting a little bit exhausted of Twilight. The excitement I had 2 years ago is just not even close to the same level it is now. Give me a pic of Rob in any other movie, and I am excited. But man, I just can’t seem to muster that same level of fangirly-ness at all when it comes to Breaking Dawn.
I’m sure I’ll be singing a different tune when November rolls around. Cause really, Condon looks to be doing a fantabulous job so far. I’m hoping he can give us a finale that will satisfy the fandom. And make me fangirl like a mofo.

Anyways, yesterday was one of those days that truly does not come often enough. Are you ready?
ROB IS ON FOR A NEW MOVIE!!!!!
Okay, deep breaths. Srsly, these are the days I live for. I mean, I love drooling over a pretty photo or two, but movies are where it is at. It means Rob is still going. Still working that career and still making pretty damn good choices outside of Twilight!! PLUS, I get to add a new blog category! EXCITING!
So, what is this movie you ask? What is it about?
Of course, it’s based on a book (since apparently those are the only movies Rob signs on for), Cosmopolis, which I am having a hell of a time pronouncing. Good thing I write a blog instead of something that involves me talking. So here is what Amazon says about the book:
DeLillo skates through a day in the life of a brilliant and precocious New Economy billionaire in this monotone 13th novel, a study in big money and affectlessness. As one character remarks, 28-year-old Eric Packer “wants to be one civilization ahead of this one.” But on an April day in the year 2000, Eric’s fortune and life fall apart. The story tracks him as he traverses Manhattan in his stretch limo. His goal: a haircut at Anthony’s, his father’s old barber. But on this day his driver has to navigate a presidential visit, an attack by anarchists and a rapper’s funeral. Meanwhile, the yen is mounting, destroying Eric’s bet against it. The catastrophe liberates Eric’s destructive instinct-he shoots another character and increases his bet. Mostly, the action consists of sequences in the back of the limo (where he stages meetings with his doctor, various corporate officers and a New Economy guru) interrupted by various pit stops. He lunches with his wife of 22 days, Elise Shifrin. He has sex with two women, his art consultant and a bodyguard. He is hit in the face with a pie by a protester. He knows he is being stalked, and the novel stages a final convergence between the ex-tycoon and his stalker.
Rob’s character is Eric, which will give #HotEric multiple meanings and that rules. The book sounds a bit crazy and weird, which is I’m sure the reason why Rob would go with it. Let’s be honest though, I saw the words sex, limo and pie in the face, and I was sold!
Plus, this movie is a milestone. It’ll be his first movie after the end of Twilight. Oh happy day!
Oh, and ladies, you know we are gonna have to put some time in and learn more about this movie. We are definitely doing book club on the blog! I’ll figure out the deets (when we’ll start, schedule, etc.) and post them next week.
Disclaimer… word is the role is in final negotiations, but it’s close to a done deal. So, there is a chance it may not happen. But hey, I’m a glass half full kind of girl, so let’s not think too long and hard (TWSS) on that.
Something else happened yesterday too. What was it….. oh yeah, that’s right. The People’s Choice Awards. I almost forgot due to the fact that the movie news is so much awesome-er then some silly awards show that really doesn’t count. But no worries, I still got the goods for you!
First up, the montage for Rob on Movie Stars Under 25. We’ll just pretend we didn’t hear them state that Rob plays guitar in a band when that is such an obvious rumor of the untrue variety.
How about some awkward KStew for you? You know I love her, and she looked amazing! I’m serious. This may have been one her best award show looks yet.
I don’t care what anyone says, I found this hilarious. Let the awkwardness runneth over!

Gah. It’s that time of the year. The time when I need set some resolutions for the year and for this here blog. After a winning year last year, it’s kind of hard to follow up. Now the resolutions get a bit crazier and much more unlikely to happen. Well, that is unless I turn into crazy stalker fan, which you never know.
So anyway, here it goes…
Rob Resolution #1 — Meet Rob. Duh.
Why make unreasonable resolutions? Why not?
So, now that I have seen him in person, I want to some how make it happen where I actually meet the man. This may be the hardest resolution I have for the year. The one I feel like is least likely to happen, but dammit, I’m gonna give it a try anyway. It’s good to aim really high, right? Plus, it’s always good to have one really unreasonable resolution to make the other ones seem much more achievable.
Rob Resolution #2 — Make it to a non-Twilight movie premiere/film fest/whatever.
This will be hard, but probs not as hard as #1. And I probably need to make this one happen in order to even have a shot at #1 happening, right? There has been talk in the RMW household about making a trip out to LA in April, but I’m pretty lukewarm on this happening. However, if Bel Ami screens at a film fest, that might be more reasonable. And maybe, just maybe, a certain someone will show up. A girl can dream.
Rob Resolution #3 — Change my blog header sometime before May. And change it more often.
I kind of feel like that house that is bringing down the neighborhood. There is always one. The one that still has freakin’ reindeer in their front yard and you are wearing shorts. So this is important… changing the header. And soon. But I don’t just want to change it once. I kinda want to play with it a bit more and change it up more then twice a year. Who knows? Maybe I’ll do a full change on the layout as well (don’t get your hopes up!).
Rob Resolution #4 — Get TheShagDaddy to give us his opinion more often!
Nothing is more refreshing then a man’s opinion on this whole crazy world of Rob. TheShagDaddy (TSD) does not get swayed as easily by how pretty Rob is and is therefore a much better opinion on things then me. Cause srsly, I have to watch trailers like 10 times just so I can move past Rob and see what it’s really about. Plus, men who talk about Rob and Twilight and all these other girly things are just cool. I will make this one happen, meaning I will withhold “stuff” if it doesn’t happen.
Rob Resolution #5 — Start the Norman’s Rare Guitars street team with Moon from LetterstoRob!
Okay, honestly, this is not really my resolution. This is LTR’s resolution. But damn, they pulled me into this mix when I got called out for “liking” Norman’s on the Facebook on my personal account. Luckily, Moon did the same thing on her personal account, thus saving me the embarrassment of it just being me that was a lame-o. So I guess we gotta make this happen. Let’s see… we need a Facebook page, a forum and of course a fan point system so we can make this happen!
Rob Resolution #6 — Keep having fun at Rob’s expense!
Some days, I’m not gonna lie, it kinda feels like a chore to write this. I don’t like that. So my resolution is to keep having fun. And if I’m not having fun, then take a break. But for right now, let the good times keep on rolling!

Whoa. Screw countdowns and best ofs and all that jazz. Things just got serious with Water for Elephants. I mean, really serious.
A new trailer came out today. It’s meant for Finland, but I’m just gonna go on and assume this is the trailer for all cause it’s way better then the first. Observe.
As I said last week, I felt something was missing from the first trailer. Rob looked good, the movie visually looked stunning, the music was flawless, but it was missing some omph. Well, we finally got our omph in the form of a crazy Christoph Waltz, better segues between old and young Jacob (the fade in was legit) and a bit more of the scandalous-ness of the love affair. THIS felt more like the trailer I wanted to see to begin with. Scrap the first one and roll with this one WFE people. It’s gold!
Now, the trailer alone would have been enough. I mean it. I was satisfied. But oh. Oh no. This is WFE day apparently. Cause then the First Look from Entertainment Weekly came out and lookey what it is… more Rob. With the elephant. Eep!

Alright, I’m gonna go on and say it… I think promotion for this movie may be in full swing. And about 2 months earlier then I thought! SQUEE! It is nice for Rob to finally get to work with a studio that knows how to treat a movie right.

Why hello there WFE still!
I literally squeed outloud. Which was embarrassing since I was at work. And rare. Normally I can stay pretty well composed, but I have been dying for some Water for Elephants news. And did I expect the first still to be an 8 on a scale of 10 on the hotness level? Uh no. I thought it would be animals and Rob, which would have been adorb, but not hot.
All I know is, I am eager for the promos to begin. Surely a trailer can’t be that far way, right? And more stills. And more interviews. And more pretty, pretty pictures!
Every once in awhile, there is a picture that comes out that makes me just pause. This is one of those pictures…

Is it because this is the best picture of Rob ever. No. This one made me pause because it reminded me of exactly who I fell in love with first… Edward. And this picture my friends is SOOOOOO Edward. The look. The jaws. The skin. Everything is just flawless!

We were officially in love. But, I had to wait what felt like forever to see you again in your full screen, high definition glory. Enter New Moon. Robward was so, so serious. New Moon is serious business. But the hotness was still there, even hidden in all the tweed!
Eclipse Robward
The saga continues, and my Robward love grew even more in this movie. A better wardrobe paired with not only a lovey dovey Robward, but also angry, kick ass Robward. Is there any better combination?? (Hint: The answer is no.)
