were lucky, we’d see some songs here or there, but an album may even be further away from that. Years, I was thinking, years.
Then, when Twilight Poison released their translation of Rob’s interview from Joy Magazine, we got a sign of hope from Rob himself:
Speaking of passion and music, we know you write songs. What can you share about it?
I’m trying to write some songs for the next movie. I don’t know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it. Music is the other side of me, it’s one of the things that complete me and I wouldn’t want to leave it aside for anything in the world. I have the intention of evolving in that aspect. It’s something I want to develope just as much as acting. I want to have a balance between those two things.
Excueeze me? Rob, did you just say you are working on some music, potentially for Eclipse? I’m not going to go too crazy or squee too much because the line about his schedule concerns me. We all know he is booked solid for several months. He has 3 more movies on his plate right now, and that’s after he finishes filming Eclipse.
So this is what I am going to do. I am going to sit here and send good music vibes to Rob. Lots of vibes. We all know writing music is all about inspiration, so we have to hope Rob is inspired by something, anything and quickly if we want to see this on the Eclipse soundtrack. Of course, if Rob wants, I’m totally down with serving as Rob’s muse if he needs it. Rob, since I just know you read this every day ::cringes::, my email address is right at the bottom of the right column. You just let me know! 
In the mean time, while we wait to see what happens with Rob and his music, why don’t you enjoy some of Rob’s music? Everyone needs a friend in this world of Robsession/Twilight Disorder. But you can’t just approach the crazies wearing the “Mrs. Robert Pattinson” shirts and make buddies. You need people like yourself,
the hardcore crazy fan who is perfectly sane on the outside.
Last week, we went through some tips and tricks to keep all the crazy contained, but no matter what you do, you are going to drop hints. But that’s okay. The only way we are going to find the normal fans is to know what to pick up on. So, I give you, my tips and tricks for spotting the closet/casual Rob-Twilight fans.
1. Look for the Bella saints bracelet.
No one just buys these bracelets. Yes, they are super cute and I love mine, but it also like a small bat signal to other Twilight fans. You see one, you look 
at that person, you nod once they acknowledge yours, then you move along. I’ve seen them in several places, including even on the wrist of the girl cutting my son’s hair. Need a new partner in Twi-crime? This person may be the real deal.
2. Go to a Sunday 10:30 a.m. showing of New Moon.
Every woman there is a closet fan, showing up at the time least likely to be filled with tweenies. But not only that, Sunday morning matinees are also least likely to have anyone else in the theatre for other movies. This “safe time” at your local theatre is the best time to scope out the “casual fans.”
3. Look for the “eye flicker” in Borders (or any other local book store!)
What is the “eye flicker”? Any time even the most casual or closet fan goes into a book store, they cannot help but scope out the table full of Rob & Twilight gear. But they don’t always run over there and start pawing over everything. No, they approach it like some kind of timid kitten. Slowly, they go to another table in eye sight and then you see it. The “eye flicker”, right over to that table. Yep, that’s one of the closet ones. She probably comments over at Random Acts of Rob every day!
4. Anytime the words “unicorn” or “kitty” are mentioned, giggles ensue!
This is mainly for the fan fiction ladies, but we all know that any good, respectful non-crazy Twi fan has most likely dabbled in the world of fan fiction. I won’t share why the words are giggle inducing because it will not be fair if you have not read these stories, but I also know that almost everyone has read these two! Try working these words into a sentence in a room full of women and see what happens!

We’ve done it many a time. The Robscars. The Twilight Movie Awards. Even the Teen Choice Awards. And now I will do it again. Tonight. For the MTV Music Video Awards!
Why? Because MTV has learned and learned well that Twilight and Rob Pattinson bring the fans. Just ask how their ratings were for the MTV Movie Awards. Big increase over last year, huh? You think that was just pure coincidence? Not likely.
So, what part will the Twilight world play in a show that is completely centered around music videos? Well, it starts before the show when Miss Ashley Greene hosts the red carpet outside. Then we jump into the show where, at some point in time, Rob, KStew and TayTay roll in and bring some NEW New Moon footage. And the rumor is…this is not the same as what has been leaked!
I hope you all will join me tonight on Twitter, following me @AmberRMW and squee right along with me, try to spot Rob in ever pan of the crowd and then talk smack about all the rest of the crap the show will consist of! Won’t you join us?!?

MUSIC!! Yeah, that’s what I am wheeling and dealing today, cause let’s face it, music is a huge part of Rob’s world, the Twilight world and my world, too, and so many things went down yesterday that I thought it might be best to just do one big hodge podge post to make sure none of you missed anything!

If you love Rob’s music (and I know you all do!), then you need to bookmark this site cause it is the bomb diggity! My favorite part…the Rob Radio!! Go and give the new site some love and keep your eye on it cause I think we will see some big things in the future for it!
And unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Death Cab for Cutie has been announced as one of the lead tracks on the upcoming New Moon Soundtrack with the song Meet Me at the Equinox. Want a little taste? Here you go!

So many people are scrambling for a piece of Rob. Today alone, three different projects have either claimed to have him part of the mix or are just wishing they could get him on board. Am I surprised? No, not really. Rob brings his own fan base with him (like me) so even mentioning him makes the fans (me) much likely to pay attention.
Cougar Town
I LOVE Courtney Cox!! I was obviously huge into Friends and I think she is gorgeous. Now, she has a new series called Cougar Town, which is just what it sounds like: a 40 something single mom who likes the younger guys. Younger guys like, say, Robert Pattinson! Of all the projects I’ve heard today, this is the one I’d LOVE to see work out. Not just for the opportunity to see Rob on the small screen, but also cause I want to give that gift to Courtney! She deserves a little bit of Rob in her… show. Her SHOW!! Geez, get your heads out of the gutter!
Oh, and Cox and her co-star both said they were totes down for a bit of Twilight in the show. I know she doesn’t say Rob specifically, but c’mon. Who else would be that perfect?
“Why don’t we get the Twilight guys,” Cox’s costar Busy Philipps told me today during a set visit. “That would be awesome.”
Cox is into the idea. “We’ll have to do that,” she said. “If the show is a success I’m sure it will be easy to do. But we’ll have to see how it goes first.”
Plus, we all know Rob has a thang for the older ladies, so he would be so down for this project! I almost want to watch the show just to make sure it is successful enough to afford to get Rob on just ONE time!

I haven’t talk much about Sam lately, at least not since my EPIC Brit Pack Review. You may wonder why that is, or you already know. I have started a NEW fan blog for Sam, Marcus and Bobby called the Shack of Soul!! And over at SoS, we are partying like crazy today for Mr. Bradley’s big day o’ birth.

My saviors of the Twicon disaster… the BritPack (which, for newbs, is Sam Bradley, Bobby Long and Marcus Foster)!! Trust me, if it weren’t for them, this weekend would have been a horrible disaster. Unimaginable disaster. Luckily, these guys made it one of the most amazing weeks of my life instead.
He may be falling in love with me right at this moment...
Of course, Sam was the one I was most excited about. I am in love with his music, his cute little videos, pretty much everything about him. And I tell you what, he managed to increase that love by about 1,000%. First my encounters, then the show!
Encounter 1: We just arrived. I saw Sam in the lobby. We played it cool and just said “Hi Sam” as he walked by. He smiled and said hi back. I waited till he was gone, then fangirled completely. I tried to tweet, but then I could not stop shaking. It was kind of ridiculous. The funniest part…we were the only ones that noticed him!
Aren't we gorgeous together? I mean, he helps it quite a bit but I think I hold me own!
Encounter 2: Next day, meet and greet! Nothing too abnormal! Lots of smiles and everything while he signed all the crap I had! 
We went back up to the room to change for the Marcus/Bobby concert and then came back down to the ATM (which was in front of the meet & greet room). The door is closed, so I thought they were all gone, but after my cussing at the ATM for not giving me cash (since I spent it all at the M&G), Sam comes out, carrying his merch and some girl asked to take a pic. The girl I was with took the pic (Val), and then we stood there contemplating if we should ask for pics while other girls did. After everyone was gone, we decided to ask if he still had time and of course he said yes. We took them, he went to grab his stuff and noticed girl #1′s phone ringing on the counter. He answers it while Val runs off to find girl. After he hangs up, it’s just me and him. He asks me if I’m having a good weekend, and I say so far and that I was looking forward to that night. Then he asks if it was even the weekend yet, and we laugh cause he doesn’t know what day it is. After that, a slightly awkward silence occurs where I can’t think of anything to say. What I should have done was at least introduce myself, but I’m an idiot. Val comes back with girl #1, then we smile and laugh and tell him we’ll see him later.

So, the rumors are flying. Who will be on the Twilight: New Moon Soundtrack
Rob loves KOL! What other reason do you need to give them a try?
Leon! From the horse’s mouth, Chris Weitz said this to RottenTomatoes.com:
“Fortunately, I’m not at the stage where I have to turn anybody down yet, because everything is still kind of up in the air,” Weitz shared, “but I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they’re interested. It’s kind of great. The criterion will still always be what’s right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested; we might, if we’re very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something… it’s exciting to be able to have access to this kind of talent.”
While this is by no means confirmation that Kings of Leon will be on the soundtrack, let’s go ahead and dream! It’ll be fun! But what song will it be? This may be the most fun to try to figure out!
Really, of their most recent songs, only two really work: Closer and Cold Desert.
Closer
Closer is an amazing song and once you read the lyrics, you can definitely see the fit to New Moon. It is such a perfect Edward POV song, which I absolutely love (since I’m kind of on Team Edward, in case you haven’t figured that out!). “Snow is cracklin’ cold. She took my heart. I think she took my soul.” Best line of the song!
