My Observations from the Remember Me Trailer

Well, I was excited about seeing New Moon. I mean, I still am cause I am and will always be a Twilight fan. But wow, Summit in all of their genius finally, finally release a Remember Me trailer. (Take note, may be the only time I use Summit and genius in the same sentence.). Yeah, the day BEFORE the release of New Moon. And it was like the heavens opened up and after the light quit blinding me, all I could see was this…

Oh, and by the way, this one is like an ultra high quality. Guess I should have warned you before you watched it. You alive?

Dude. Only one of us can be the comedy relief...and that is me.

So I started tweeting these earlier, then I was like, “What the hell? I can totally do this for my blog?” But today’s blog, despite the fact that today is the opening day of New Moon, will focus on Remember

Me and all the cool things I observed in the trailer!

Observation #1: I think I’m going to dig Tyler’s friend in the movie.

Serious movies are good, but there always has to be that one guy. The guy that breaks it up and makes you smile. While looks like Tyler will have some one-lines, I’m guessing the friend will be the comedy relief. And I love comedy relief!

Observation #2: Watching Tyler and his lil sister interact WILL make me cry.

I am a big baby. I cry at the pretty much the drop of a hat. And if a kid is involved, just go ahead and grab and bucket cause I am going to need it. Seeing Rob interact with a little girl period kills me, but to see it as Tyler, gah! Already tearing up a bit!

Seriously... Have you heard about the Book of Morman?!? (No offense intended should any of you be Morman! ;) )

 

Observation #3 (by TheShagDaddy) Seeing Rob in a shirt & tie on a bike makes me wonder if he’s gonna stop to tell you the word of God.

We’ve all been there. You here that knock on the door and quickly turn off the TV and duck down, hoping they didn’t hear you. Yep, but what if the religious person standing at your door was Rob?!?

Observation #4 I may have been giving a new fantasy…me…Rob…library…::thud::

Hmmmm... not spotting any Twi books. ::phew::

Yes, Rob is in a scene. Surrounded by books. Wearing a white undershirt. AND SMILING!!! Holy crap.

Observation #5 I may have been dead after watching the trailer, and it didn’t even have the guitar scene!!

Yes, that right. You all remember the pictures. Rob holding that guitar for a scene in Remember Me. And I did NOT see that in the trailer. Which means there is much, MUCH more left to kill me when I see this thing in all of its glory.

Robward Explosion!

Apparently everyone benefits when I am sick, except me of course. While I was sleeping the 18 hours or so I slept yesterday, new Robward was popping up all over the place.

It started off with the release of the first TV spot, which I was wondering when we were going to see that. I have been in dire need of new Robward while watching all of my fave shows. Kind of like when the Twilight TV spots kept coming on every commercial break not too long ago. To be honest, I never got tired of them. NEVER! And I will never tire of this one either:

Yeah, that look Robward has at the very end…NEVER. GETS. OLD!! Can’t wait to see the other spots they put together and start getting that good little New Moon mix in the television.

Dear Summit, Let’s Put Some of That Effort into a Remember Me Trailer

Dear Summit,

Why hello there! I’m not always your biggest fan, but I do have some love deep down some where for you. And I am excited about New Moon. I mean, CRAZY excited! I watch every new photo/trailer/10 second clip that you tease us with.

I mean, you seriously got me to watch this and be excited:

Did you see Rob in that clip?!? No. Why am I excited by it? I don’t know, maybe I am hypnotized by Alex Meraz’s amazing abs. But this is getting ridiculous.

Anyway, I digress. I just wanted you to know that I truly believe you have saturated the market with New Moon. You’d have to live under a rock not to know about it, or not to have seen at least ONE of the bazillion trailers. Time to take a moment and concentrate on creating/editing/releasing trailers for other movies you are making. Perhaps a little one called Remember Me.

Drunk Rob Makes An Appearance at the VMAs!

We watched the MTV Video Music Awards. We held our breath every time Rob was mentioned and waited for the camera pan that would never come. It was a disappointing night overall, until we finally got this…

(FYI: This may get pulled. If so, I’m sorry. I tried.)

Now go back and rewatch that and listen closely to Rob. Me thinks someone had a couple of drinks before he walked on the stage. Cause if that ain’t a bit of a slur, then I don’t know what it is. I missed it the first time. I got caught up in the drunk “eff me” eyes that called my name.

How to Give Off the Casual Fan Vibe

Yesterday, my girl over at Random Acts of Rob did a post about confessions of a Rob blogger, which was just brill for sure! So much of the confessions fit me perfectly, but then it got me thinking about how under wraps I am with my obsession for both Rob and Twilight.  This isn’t really confession time so much as tips for all of your Robsessed/Twiobsessed people to appear more like “casual” fans, rather than the raving lunatics we are most days!

1. Post the new movie trailers on Facebook 3 days after the come out.

If you posted the New Moon trailer 5 minutes after MTV showed it, you really gave away all your cards. Do like I did. Wait a week, then post it! My mom (who has not read the books but has seen the movie) was like, “Oh wow. I really want to see this.” Perfect! She has no idea that I watched that trailer about 854 times before I posted it and I was strategically placing it on my Facebook page so she would want to see the movie with me (which I will most likely have already seen 2-3 times before!).

2. Don’t talk about Remember Me or any other Rob movie AT ALL until the official trailer comes out!

Most movies don’t have that kind of pap coverage Remember Me had and the fact that you’ve seen every picture and may have already read the script before most people even know the movie exists is a dead giveaway. It’s like playing a game of poker with your cards facing out. Oh, and when the trailer does come out, be sure to say that it has the “guy from Twilight” in it, not “It’s starring Robert Thomas Pattinson, born May 13, 1986 in London, etc. etc. etc.” If you start spouting off Wikipedia on Rob, they are going to know!

I Always Thought of Bella as a Sporty Briefs Kinda Girl…

Yesterday, NewMoonMovie.org released this great screencap, quite possibly the BEST one from the New Moon trailer:

So, I’m sitting here thinking, “Good Lord, I only watched this trailer about 250 times, how could I possibly not spot something like this?” The next thought, is this some kind of photoshopped screencap to make us all laugh. Yep, time to watch the trailer again to see if I can spot it myself:

They were right!! I see London, I see France, I see Bella’s underpants!! As Rob would say, NAUGHTY!! (Thanks Random Acts of Rob!)

Hopefully, editing peeps are paying attention and go ahead and take care of this before the final product, but personally I find this absolutely hilarious. Not only do I not really picture Bella as a “thong” girl, but I really don’t even picture KStew that way. She must have had some dirty plans for ol’ Oregano (not Rob, you know I’m not down with Robsten, sorry!). Cause, let’s face it. NO ONE wears a red thong unless they plan on getting some. It’s just a fact.

But hey, I’d much rather see KStew in a thong then with her bong. (Hey, I’m a poet and didn’t know it!) Oh, and yes, I feel dirty and slightly pervy for writing this post. AND I’m well aware Rob is NOT the main feature today, but hey, this whole Twilight business has “robbed my world” too, so it all works! And since it’s pretty obvious I’m turning into a Kristen fan (SHOCK!), then she gets to be playfully made fun of the way we all do Rob.

Rob SWEEPS MTV Movie Awards…and me, right off my feet!!

I am still fangirl-ing like crazy right now, but I am going to try and write this post anyway. If there are random squees or black outs, I’m sorry. I just can’t help it!! SQUEEEEEE

First off, let me just say that I CANNOT remember the last time I watched the movie awards. I feel confident saying it’s been years. But look what Rob and Twilight have done to me. I’m sitting here squeeing like a little fangirl, shaking with anticipation, watching the New Moon trailer about 20 million times and have already downloaded it to my computer for future viewing!

So here is what is going to happen… I’m going to do this in order of the night and it let’s you RELIVE my experience… which was AMAZING!!! SQUEEEEEEE

First Twilight award, and of course, Rob and Cam take it home!! Was anyone REALLY shocked? No, but I was still squeeing cause we got the first real taste of Rob, starting off the night right! YES!!! Afterwards, Rob said winning the award made him “feel tough…and hard.” I.AM.DIED

Just One Year Ago… Looking Back on the ’08 Movie Awards

As we get ready for this evening and the screams that will be heard world wide when the New Moon trailer is officially unveiled on the MTV Movie Awards tonight, I think it’s important that we look back to last year’s awards and see how Twilight really has changed EVERYTHING!

First off, a lot of us did not even have Twilight or Robert Pattinson on on our radar. Gasp… I know. Yes, everybody, I am a late comer to this game.But hey, let’s face it, better late then never!

Secondly, watch the fans…see how they aren’t even really looking in the direction of Rob and Kristen. Big difference to now, where red carpets are now full of screaming, crying and even fainting over the sight of Rob. In fact, from what I’ve read, it appears that after walking the carpet once, the Twilight stars had to go back and walk again so the press would realize they were actually actors. Can you believe it?!?

And finally, do they not seem to be completely underestimate the craziness that is coming on their horizon? Maybe they couldn’t see it (I mean, Alice is just a fictional character) or maybe they were just hoping it wouldn’t get to that point. For whatever reason, I love the real innocence of it all!
