AND So Begins the WFE Promo… And It Starts Off With a Bang!

Oh yes, it is finally that time. Promo time! Water for Elephants is literally around the corner and I am one eager beaver to see this movie. I mean, how could I not be? Look how freakin’ adorable Rob is in this behind the scenes vid!

I swear, the interviews are the best part of promo time. I love his little “spoilers” and comments about being professional during the sex scenes. Like he didn’t intend to be professional, which with the way Resse was talking, she may not have minded too much. But I mean, really, can we blame her?

And what was on the tv was just a wee bit different….

While I like the interviews from the first vid better, this one wins for showing Rob dancing. I knew it was coming, but I still may or may not have squeed a bit when I saw him actually dancing. I guess cause I mainly pictured it slower, while this was a bit of a faster pace, which I find more exciting. Plus, since I really did enjoy the book, it is so amazing to see things like the parade come to life.

This is just the beginning ladies. Just the beginning… welcome to WFE promo! Here is hoping for more sooner rather then later!

Weekend Round Up, Cause Too Much Happened That You Don’t Want to Miss

While you all had your nose stuck in Cosmopolis this weekend and were trying to figure out how it all would end, there was a BUNCH of other Rob-centric things happening. Some made me happy. Others sad. You’ll see why.

Water for Elephants premiere in NYC on April 17

This is the one thing that made me sad. I had heard a rumor awhile back that the premiere would be in New York and Hibbits confirmed it. Yay! I’d never been to New York City, the plane tickets were a bit cheaper, it was all looking like me and TheShagDaddy might be flying out to be there. But then I noticed the date, which is April 17. AND, I can’t be there. Stupid work and real life will keep me at home that night, which makes me super sad. I was already jones-ing to see Rob in person again sans Twilight fans. Oh well. Maybe some of you can go, and take pictures, and report back. Let us know if you are going in the comments, but hey, don’t rub it in too much.

Why hello Robowski feature!

Let me go ahead and say it… best movie poster featuring Rob EVER! I love how all the posters tell little stories, this one being totally different then the first. Plus, damn if that boy ain’t pretty in this. The suspenders slay me.

The more that comes out about this movie, the more excited I am.It’s good source material and it’s a high quality movie. And we finally get to see Rob as a man, which I think we all needed. Is it April yet?

Rob in Vanity Fair again?!?

Maybe. I’d post the tweet where the guy said Rob had just finished a shoot for Vanity Fair, but alas, the tweet was deleted. Which means one thing… someone talked when he wasn’t supposed to. Amazing how often that happens on Twitter. But let’s go ahead and dream of the last Vanity Fair shoot, which gave us about a bazillion new, super hot pictures and HOPE that is what we see looks something close to this…

It’s not a crazy thought that this may be happening. With Water for Elephants and Breaking Dawn coming soon, now is the time for promotional photoshoots and interviews. Which reminds me… it’s really almost promo time for Water for Elephants. EEP! I may be more excited for all the new foder for the blogging fire. Woo hoo!!

Robward Playing Some Tunes in Breaking Dawn

Now, I almost didn’t post this cause I think everyone is getting their hopes up for something else. What was said is Rob will be shown playing the piano in Breaking Dawn, but a lot of people are taking it totally different. Like “Rob will be on the soundtrack” different. Now, could Rob show up on the soundtrack? I’m sure he could, but as of right now, he’s just playing a piano in a movie. Sort of. I mean, you’ll see him playing, but the score version will still be heard. So really, all we are getting is seeing Rob playing the piano in the movie.

Is that about as clear as mud? So please everyone, chillax. And keep your hopes on the soundtrack low, that way if it happens we can all be surprised together!

What a weekend, but seriously Rob, can you do this stuff during the week? Cause you know, this catching up shizz is hard. Please and thank you!

Why Can’t All Weeks Be This Good… Friday Video Day!

Let’s All Be Cool: Razzies, Oscars, Who Cares?

Yep. I am starting to miss this.

Goodness. We are hardcore in yellow on the Rob Drought advisory scale. I went back to read my description on yellow and I tell you… I nailed it!

 

YELLOW = Drought Risk: ELEVATED

It’s been about a week. No sign of Rob. Hmm. I’m started to miss him, but not too much. Although, the well for blog postings is starting to run dry. It sure would be nice for him to stick his head out soon and give me some good jawporn to talk about. I’m a bit worried this lapse of sightings may draw out.

I think this elevated status of Rob missing-ness is making people lose their cool.

For example, the Oscars and the Razzies. Yeah, Rob was nominated for a Razzie. Okay. So what? I mean, we all know Twilight is the butt of all of the Hollywood jokes, not matter how much money it makes, so of course the movie and the main actors are going to get nominated for the Razzie. Do I think they deserved to throw Remember Me in there? No, but I am over it. Well, I was never even under it. I just don’t care.

But damn, some people were really angry. I mean, really angry. Everyone knows he was nominated last year, right? It’s not that big of a deal. Let’s concentrate on looking forward in the career, not backward. You’ll be much happier that way.

BUT, let’s not get all crazy with the forward looking. Since the Oscar list came out today, people were already getting antsy about next year’s noms, and some were throwing Rob’s name out there. I mean, I would love to see that as much as the next person, but we haven’t even SEEN Water for Elephants yet. A bunch of people thought Remember Me would be the break out, Oscar-nominated role as well before it came out. But, uh, that didn’t quite go as planned now did it?

So, I am begging all of you… let’s just play it cool fangirls. Let’s not be those crazy fangirls that every one is rolling their eyes at. Let’s be normal. Let’s enjoy all the build up and good things that are being said, but not go too crazy.

And srsly, let’s start a freakin’ countdown to April, cause I cannot wait. Actually, I cannot wait till March when all the promos start. Promos make for such good blogging fodder.

Shall we watch the trailer again? Cause honestly, that’s what I do right now when I get to missing Rob.

New Lead Actress, New Outtake and a Not-So-New #WFE Trailer

I wouldn’t call this a super busy day in the Rob world. It was basically just busy enough to keep us all on our toes. And I mean literally…

New Lead Actress in Cosmopolis?

Well, yes, but the real question is… who? See, here is what happened.  The original lead, Marion Cottilard, got hit by that pregnancy bug going around Hollywood. Srsly. Don’t drink the water around there. It’s an epedimic. So, magically, Keira Knightly’s named popped up on the site as being in the film. Replacing Marion? Maybe. Just about the time I started getting excited (I’ve been a Knightly fan since Bend it Like Beckham), her name magically disappeared from the site. Like it was never there…

Weird.

So, here is what we know. There will be  new lead. We aren’t really sure who it is. Maybe Keira. And the Cosmopolis site people need to learn they are being monitored hard core by the Rob fans. Cause that’s what we do.

New Outtakes!

This I know for sure. There were 2 new outtakes from the shoot that keeps on giving. Although, can I be honest? Are we in the trust tree? ::whispers:: I don’t really think they are that good. Sorry. Rob looks like he needs a good night’s sleep and a cuddle, from me of course.

Not-So-New Trailer

Then MTV tried to fool us all. They were advertising this trailer as the new international trailer for Water for Elephants. I was all jazzed, till I watched it and realized it was what was released in Finland. Which makes sense, cause um, Finland is international.

But of course, I watched it a couple times, you know, since I already had it open. So you should too. I still get the chills!

Oh, and I so downloaded the song from the trailer since it’s brill. It makes me want to cry. You should too. It’s Please Don’t Go by Barcelona. I think if this one song is any indication, I may need to buy the whole album!

My Weekend Round Up. On Tuesday.

Of course yesterday we started book club, so I didn’t get to talk at all about all the goodies that came out this weekend. And really, we were in the freakin’ green all weekend. I could barely stand it. Or keep up. And I’m pretty sure my external drive almost blew up. So let’s go through it and we’ll look at some of my fave things that happened.

We heard there would be reshoots for Water for Elephants, but everyone seemed to think Rob would not be there for them. Guess what? They were wrong. Rob was so there, and looked SO good!

P.S. Um…. people are not putting the warnings out there, but I think some of the pictures are a bit spoilerish unless you’ve at least read the book. So I’m gonna put a jump here. Do it at your own risk!

The Year of the Shagdaddy??!! @theshagdaddy — Guest Post by Stephanie

I’m definitely starting to feel the effects of a Yellow Alert. It’s been a full week, so we can safely move into this level, yeah?

Frequent guest blogger Stephanie sent me this last week, and I had to post it cause anytime someone gets on to my husband other then me, it kind of rules!

So it’s the New Year, and I’m hoping it’s going to be a better year for me because really, last year, not so great. Not horrible I guess, but it definitely could have been better. To cap off my year, my New Year’s Eve did not go as planned to say the least (Christmas tree came crashing down in my living room and then my car decided to break and needed to be towed. REALLY? FML). So I’m hoping that’s not a sign of things to come. But it has me thinking, what are my wishes for this New Year?

Well of course there’s this wish. Why not?

On the Rob front it’s shaping up to be a great year and that is a VERY good thing. I mean come on, we are going to get Water for Elephants. After all the waiting and drooling we’ve done, we are finally gonna get it and I for one am super excited. It will be a little strange though. Up until November we will all be Team Jacob. That’s something I don’t think I’ve ever said before. Weird! Hopefully some time not too long after we recover from the hotness that is Jacob Jankowski we’ll be killed again by Bel Ami and Georges DuRoy *fingers and toes crossed* and this is also a VERY good thing!!! Super smexy time with our man, yes please!! After this I think we will need a great deal of recovery time, not to mention a whole new panty supply before November comes and we get Breaking Dawn Part 1 and are back to team Edward (feathers, broken headboards, bruises, SEX and no fade to black please and thank you). Phew, sounds like an outstanding year to me so far.

So I ask, what could make it better? What could possibly improve this year full of Rob goodness? I can’t think of much, but, oh, maybe this one thing . . . MORE SHAGDADDY POSTS!!! Yup, there, I said it. Amber asked, and I listened. Maybe we need a man’s perspective a little more often in RMW land. I think we do. We can fan girl and he can man crush. The two just naturally go together hand and hand like peanut butter and jelly or me and Rob (he just doesn’t know it yet). Do you see what I’m saying?? And do you all agree??

My 2011 Rob Resolutions — Unrealistic and Damn Near Impossible, Just the Way I Like ‘Em

Gah. It’s that time of the year. The time when I need set some resolutions for the year and for this here blog. After a winning year last year, it’s kind of hard to follow up. Now the resolutions get a bit crazier and much more unlikely to happen. Well, that is unless I turn into crazy stalker fan, which you never know.

So anyway, here it goes…

Rob Resolution #1 — Meet Rob. Duh.

Why make unreasonable resolutions? Why not?

So, now that I have seen him in person, I want to some how make it happen where I actually meet the man. This may be the hardest resolution I have for the year. The one I feel like is least likely to happen, but dammit, I’m gonna give it a try anyway. It’s good to aim really high, right? Plus, it’s always good to have one really unreasonable resolution to make the other ones seem much more achievable.

Rob Resolution #2 — Make it to a non-Twilight movie premiere/film fest/whatever.

This will be hard, but probs not as hard as #1. And I probably need to make this one happen in order to even have a shot at #1 happening, right? There has been talk in the RMW household about making a trip out to LA in April, but I’m pretty lukewarm on this happening. However, if Bel Ami screens at a film fest, that might be more reasonable. And maybe, just maybe, a certain someone will show up. A girl can dream.

Rob Resolution #3 — Change my blog header sometime before May. And change it more often.

I kind of feel like that house that is bringing down the neighborhood. There is always one. The one that still has freakin’ reindeer in their front yard and you are wearing shorts. So this is important… changing the header. And soon. But I don’t just want to change it once. I kinda want to play with it a bit more and change it up more then twice a year. Who knows? Maybe I’ll do a full change on the layout as well (don’t get your hopes up!).

Rob Resolution #4 — Get TheShagDaddy to give us his opinion more often!

Nothing is more refreshing then a man’s opinion on this whole crazy world of Rob. TheShagDaddy (TSD) does not get swayed as easily by how pretty Rob is and is therefore a much better opinion on things then me. Cause srsly, I have to watch trailers like 10 times just so I can move past Rob and see what it’s really about. Plus, men who talk about Rob and Twilight and all these other girly things are just cool. I will make this one happen, meaning I will withhold “stuff” if it doesn’t happen.

Rob Resolution #5 — Start the Norman’s Rare Guitars street team with Moon from LetterstoRob!

Okay, honestly, this is not really my resolution. This is LTR’s resolution. But damn, they pulled me into this mix when I got called out for “liking” Norman’s on the Facebook on my personal account. Luckily, Moon did the same thing on her personal account, thus saving me the embarrassment of it just being me that was a lame-o. So I guess we gotta make this happen. Let’s see… we need a Facebook page,  a forum and of course a fan point system so we can make this happen!

Rob Resolution #6 — Keep having fun at Rob’s expense!

Some days, I’m not gonna lie, it kinda feels like a chore to write this. I  don’t like that. So my resolution is to keep having fun. And if I’m not having fun, then take a break. But for right now, let the good times keep on rolling!

End Your 2010 with Crying, Drooling and Laughing at Rob Vids

Is it really the last day of the year? Wow. What happened?

Well, what is the best way to roll out the last day of 2010? Watching Rob videos. Duh. Plus, if you have kids like me which equates to no plans since babysitters are hard to come by on this day, you are gonna need something watch when you are trying really hard to stay up till midnight! Hopefully Rob can help you.

Remember Me — Angels on the Moon (Thriving Ivory)

Go on ahead and hate me now cause I am starting with a tear jerker. SilverVintage82 took an almost too perfect song and set it to Remember Me, and I was crying by the end. And now I want to watch it so I can cry even more. Really, so sad that this movie was so misunderstood. But this video just reminds you of how good the story really is.

::sigh:: I love Rome Rob. Bunches. The hair is perfect, he’s still so smiley and giddy. He just makes me happy. So I knew immediately I would love this video by Dontliveinregret. And I do, well, other then the song is not quite perfect and the fuzziness. But still, it’s Rome Rob! Mama like!

A “just the tip” vid, but it’s Water for Elephants, and I am still kind of fangirling over the past couple days and this movie. Lacedtears took all the bits of Jacob and Marlena from the first trailer and made a video concentrating on them, and it’s gorgeous! I just love it!

So, Rob vids are kinda light this week, so I’m posting this vid by Loonnddreess. It’s got Rob in it, but it’s kinda focused more on Bella and Twilight. But, since I like Twilight and I like KStew and I like that all the scenes with Rob seem to be the ones in slow mo, I thought you all would like it!
